Fucking catpeople in DF.

Every goddamn time, they're the worst player in the group. And then sometimes there's those who do all this ">^.^< mewmewmew" shit too. And in either instance it's always the non-catpeople who call them out for being bad.

That whole race is like a bad magnet or something.

I feel the same about Roegadyns (and Galkas in FFXI). They always seem to attract arrogant people. I'm sure there are humble ones, but a majority are ones that believe they are the best in the world.

Hyur: Boring who just want to play the game
Lalataru: lolsowhimsical who need to feel special
Roegalka: Always the most emotionally fucked up people
Cats: Either terrible players, manthra, or both.
Elves: No one plays elves. Fact.

That's not even delving into the RP community. Oh boy.

I dont know I find humans have the most dicks in their ranks. See almost zero roegalka outside the two in my FC. One being a dick at times and the other who is shy as fuck LOL.

I wouldn't even be shocked to learn Elezens comprise less than 10% total of the playerbase (i'd actually expect it to be hovering around 7.5%). It's fucking Catgirl Furrytasy XIV, at least half of the playerbase is catpeople (you can't go anywhere in any of the cities without encountering some hugely skewed ratio of catpeople:everyone else). I don't even know anyone else besides a JP woman and myself who play Elezen out of a considerable circle of people. Roegadyns are probably almost as rare; I only know two people. Lalafell aren't really terribly uncommon or anything, but probably less than Hyur. I don't think i've ever had a DF 8-person duty that didn't have at least two cats; on the other hand i've definitely had such instances where Roegadyns were utterly absent (or where I was the only Elezen).

And you seriously don't want to fucking delve into the RP side of things. A post ripped from some RP community (which is unsurprisingly like 90% catpeople) that was posted awhile ago on /vg/ had these furries going into detail about their fucking tails and ears. That was before they got to RP yiffing.

Last time I did amdapor HM :
We reach the 2nd boss (auroch), then as a tank I pull the add damage it to kill it and get hate from the boss.
Then I take another add as usual. But the SMN started to kill an add himself, of course his dps is higher than pld's'. He took hate for a few sec and started to ask me to tank boss...
Best part : he said he killed auroch without killing any add at all, and that the way I'm doing it is stupid...

The two other guys didn't say anything but they seemed to disagree with the SMN since i received two commendations.

Near as I can tell, Auroch only fights whomever the debuff is on. I never saw any reason for any DPS to ever touch the adds; I know when I fight I just pull wamouras and work them down to 5% before getting a swing or two on the boss then reapply under 5 seconds.

Rocket surgeons all up in DF know best, though.

It'd be fine if the SMN wasn't a retard and DDed the Ranch Wamoura to speed things up. But that's not the case here obviously. I don't even know if Arioch can be hit with any LBs while untargetable (probably not like everything else); it also has a pretty hefty Regen or some shit when it's untargetable.

TL;DR: SMN is a fucking retard and is full of shit. Also it's not Amdapor HM; it's Amdapor City/LC. I couldn't figure out what the fuck you were talking about for a moment.

Fight the one who has the highest debuff, so if the SMN is a moron and kill Wamouras alone on his side, boss could turn on him over time

Yeah, there's no reason for DPS to ever "help" if the tank knows he doesn't need to generate threat. I think that list is about ten names long, though.

Dps should only touch the first add. And then you only gain 10 secs by doing this.

Or you can just avoid the instance and the chance of getting herps in there by queuing In-Progress for your roulette and leave if you get that hellhole.

In-progress roulette hasn't existed since 2.15. Roulette? Yes. In-progress specifics? Yes. In-progress roulette? Never again.

That said, flagging JiP and then specifying the new 3 then Haukke/Copperbell has good results.

If I activate my duty finder there's' no reason for me to withdraw. I don't rush anything, generally takes me the whole week to cap soldiery.
There was also no reason to leave since everything went well except the SMN not understanding how auroch works.

In-progress roulette hasn't existed since 2.15. Roulette? Yes. In-progress specifics? Yes. In-progress roulette? Never again.

That said, flagging JiP and then specifying the new 3 then Haukke/Copperbell has good results.

What happened is, people were crying on the forums that it was unfair for a tank to join "in progress" at the last boss and get full credit.

They would rather sit there, without a tank, and not finish then dungeon than someone join and get full credit. I wish I was making this up, but I am not.

By removing in-progres roulete, they removed the biggest benefit of it, the quick replacements when you lose people. Now I gotta cry on various linkshells when I need a replacement. D:
