If you're Provoke pulling, it better be for good reason.

Most of the time, it's not for a good reason.

Range, quickness, I don't see any 4 men dungeons where I should keep provoke for anything else than pulling at distance.

A proper tooltip explaining what Provoke does for the idiots who use it in their "rotation" and to pull. Please.

In my case Provoke and bulwark are close to each other. Sometimes I can push both buttons at the same time by mistake resulting in a "provoke in rotation"

provoke is good if you need to bottle-neck packs from a distance. Just running up to a pack and using to provoke to pull them faster is basically a waste, especially when some dumb bard unloads on an off mob while a blm is nuking primary target. Have fun dealing with that without provoke up.

Still RB hase its uses for some spots. Tam tara on that one big pull. Needed? no but it still be up to the tanks to not noob it up once they did get it.

I wasn't implying incorporating Riot into another combo or something, just having it learned after RoH.

Too many new players just see:

-Flash Costs MP and increases hate
-Riot blade recovers MP and has a higher potency than Savage Blade
---> I hold hate with Flash and use Riot Blade to recover MP

Re: Riot Blade, most new players I see don't even make that logic leap to Flash. They just Riot Blade 1 mob and the others don't exist.

What? Can't you just Character Config -> UI Settings -> Character Information -> Uncheck Display Flying Text?

It's right above the option to change Flying Text size.

So to link the High Allagan Blade with a different name, you'd put <a href="i:7219,0,0,0,Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker"></a> , getting the item # off of xivdb.

I can find some ways to have fun with this for sure. Though it would be better if they ever made it so chat links were a different color, instead of matching it. As it is now, you have no idea if something is a link until you actually mouse over it.
