Also, you'll need alexandrite to do your upgrades. So you'd spend an excessive amount of alexandrite trying to cheap your way to novus.

I really wish I could work on Novus before completing my Animus (on book 7). At least let me farm Alexandrite by doing the daily hunt.

Exactly what I thought lol. I thought I was going to have some fun jumping around to do to get to some vistas. See some spots I didn't bother to get to when I got maps 100% back at launch. But goddamn, seriously wtf! Fuck getting to those spots and then start a waiting game for some dumb weather condition to pop.
