Holy shit, I just grab someone else and duo them. If there was zero chance of failure, they may as well just eschew the whole map part entirely and just hand you the Alex instead. The amount of people that didn't realize that you map was used up when the monsters are spawned (hint: it says "Your map crumbles into dust") blows my mind.

However, I will note that it is very ironic that your map crumbles into dust considering the old lady claims to use the maps for scrubbing stains, implying that they'd be durable...

I've done exactly this. Been duoing them with ease as mnk and healer. You can solo a good portion of them too but kinda chancy on which mob you would get unless it's location dependent which I have no idea. I'm sure that molboro would wreck my world if I was solo since that stun before breath

I had a good 10 second lag last night in t8. Thankfully I was tanking and nothing of note happened. (still no tank drops for people that have read all my bitching.....BRD legs,MNK hands from 8 ><)

I just noticed that it seems like the last patch fixed the thing there your mouse cursor would still move around in the game window when you were tabbed to another window.

I thought that was several patches ago. Haven't had that issue quite a while at least.

I never have connection issues but the last 3 days have been horrible 90ks rubberbanding etc MAKE IT STOP SE!

All you guys having lag, what state are you in?

I'll say I'm in Michigan and there's been a buttload, BUTTLOAD, of complaints about Comcast/etc in Michigan in regards to horrible ~10 second lag stops and rubberbanding bullshit on other MMO forums (Specifically of note Guild Wars 2, where I'm having the issue).

Started with me about 2-3 days ago.

Having an issue lately where ACT parses with myself on PLD tend to be missing quite a number of actions. Specifically the Fast Blade/Savage Blade count is way off given the Halone count which is significantly higher.

the rampant 90k fucked over our T8 runs at ~5% like 3 times, and then people had to call it so we didn't even get to clear that. keeping with tradition, our other turns dropped more healing/fending stuff, except we finally got our fourth drop outside of that category in 7 weeks of clearing stuff... a second pair of maiming feet (we only have one person that plays drg).

i guess this is payback for the exceptional luck i had with coil drops in 2.0/2.1

I used to have tons of rubber banding issues, but they seemed to have fixed it. since 2.1 no issues at all but the occasional comcast bs. Recently though the server or whatever I'm connected to from Norcal has been BODIED. I have been dc'd like 15 times, whole groups dc'd and like 2/3 of raid members getting them in random pugs. Hope they fix this garbage.

i live in MA which is not exactly southern but close enough. connectivity isn't usually a major issue for me, outside of one weekend a month or so back where i couldn't maintain a stable connection to the game for the better part of a saturday. same deal with latency, except for the last month or so of 2.1, where i had horrible lag in coil zones.

We're in southern mass and never have issues with ffxiv. However, 30 miles out and crossing the state line into east providence where my brother-in-law plays...connection takes a nosedive. They have verizon but its still so bad.

About to beat t8 w/ the static for the first time (pugged and beat before), wipe at 1% cuz smn goes into panic mode and triggers a tower to wipe the tank, then us. :/

This game is too punishing for 1 little error, especially at the end.
