They made a daily quest that requires you to do an expert DR without addressing the fact that once you're capped on solds, you're getting nothing out of it but mythos from the first 2 bosses.

And alexandrite (eventually) but yeah that was my very first thought on that quest. I don't even do expert roulette for soldiery any more unless I don't play for days and get behind. Thanks for another minor annoyance SE.

Edit: bonus points for sch who can often flat-out afk for low lvl.

idk about more gil if you consider the mob drops though. Still, even the occasional 4-minute primal = jackpot, regardless of gil. And then there's shit like Doctore's Harness etc which often fetch 20k+.

edit: oh and having pro players in low level roulettes would have the side effect of showing noobs how it's done, etc., might lead to a less shitty playerbase eventually...one can dream.

Low-lvl runs when I was still leveling jobs, it was typically a 25-30min affair if it wasn't a primal. Expert roulette I just grab 3 FC buds and do a sub-15min.

Yup and low level is always a combination of Tam Tara, Totorak, or Cutters Cry. I got a whole week of Ifrit once leveling WHM but hardly anything since

More of a random tip than complaint, copperbell hard, the part with the fulminators, have the healer agro the bomb, stay back and let the bomb beat on them. They don't hit hard, killing it just causes another to spawn and of course the occasional "oops, was I supposed to run from that?" Kill bomb after everything else.

Trail Roulette. PLD got mad and literally jumped off a cliff because I wouldn't "let" him MT. Ended up outdpsing all but one dps in Defiance.

They can't stun all of them.

Only one they can and should is the one before the plumes, and it so happens that happens 1 second after his stun resistance wears assuming that is all you stun.

Half the time I get Ifrit HM on roulette when I'm on WAR/PLD, there's always a DRG leg sweeping every possible opportunity, wrecking the resist count for stun.

That debuff resist update was some bullshit.

Not all Eruptions can be stunned, you would get 1-2 resist before a patch added the new mechanic
You get 2 Eruptions stunned, then the others are resisted till close till after all 4 nails are destroyed

Then it's outer plumes, inner plumes, eruption, whole are plume, safe spot under ifrits ass
Those are 90% caught, maybe 1 resisted for some odd reason

I know they can't stun all of them, or even most of them. But they should stun at least a few of them, like that one before the plumes.
