Advanced Mode: Pull ADS with enough time left to start the Allagan Rot going, but not enough time to kill ADS before the enrage starts.
Durability potions wear off if you die.
haha, wow
(I've had the 5 of them from MSQ sitting around forever)
^ Useful for Brayflox runs only.
That said, there was a dev response recently-ish that said they're 'looking into changing that'.
This happened to me last night as well though nobody died. We also wiped because 1 of the DPS never came back from AFK and the 2 Scholars in the party ran out of MP cos of that succor spamming sweetness. After the wipe, one SCH offers to go WHM. The other SCH says he can go WHM as well. WTB Medica 2 and Cure 3 please.
Same with SB potions, I hate popping one in CT only to get tail swiped by Valefor x.x
Kind of a question/complaint. I inactivated my service account about a month ago after I paid with 21 days left on it. Now I'm reactivating and they just billed me again 12.99... apparently I lost all that time I paid for earlier. What the fuck SE?
That's some stupid bullshit lol
When you deactivate an account it's obviously because you don't want to play/don't have time to play anymore. Why the heck wouldn't they lock you out of game access while you're inactive but preserve whatever you paid for until your return? It just makes the customer end up paying for something they can't use. That's retarded.
I guess there are two ways of looking at it though. The "I can't play so I'm gonna deactivate" side (mine), and the "I can't pay/play after this period I just paid for so I'll just play until it runs out". I'm on the side of the fence that gets dicked.
I assume they do it so people don't just do their weekly coil -> cancel -> reactivate next week for coil again. But yeah, it's like this in every MMO I've ever played.
If you pay 3 days for a hotel reservation but only use 1, do they give you back the 2 or let you use them later?
I guess soJust mayad. I never found occasion to inactivate my XI accounts so I never ran into this before. Thanks for the answers.
Yeah you're paying for monthly time blocks, not X number of days sadly. That's how most subscription based services are run. Some will prorate, some (like SE) will not.
It would be nice if they prorated or saved days, but they did have a clear explanation of it the last time I bothered reading the text when I unsubscribed my 2nd account.
