Well thats why it was all so puzzling, for one I have healed (on blm and smn) a tank through bosses in Bray. I think what was happening was we were all just kind of seeing if the whm would cut it at all, and of course he did not. Im assuming the worst of him, str gear, spec'd into int..etc. So the war prolly didnt pop anything and just sat there wailing on the mobs while the dragoon and I just kinda slapped the mobs a little seeing where it was all going. I mean his heals were prolly like 300 and I can hear him mashing them over and over but could not keep up with the viscous raptor duo.

At 50, you literally need to have all non-vit (possibly crafting gear to spiritbond?) equipped, and a 0-1 VIT weapon to even get that low of HP.

Or broken equipment.

That could of been it, I didn't check his gear but he visibly he had a crafted weapon (not the i70) and the AF whm body.

Would like two things:

1. Status icon (visible to all) that shows if you have broken equipment
2. Status icon (or some other signifier like the Level Sync indicator) to show *WHICH* party members are new to a particular duty, so that I don't have to ask who hasn't done CM before and get crickets from all the keyboardless subhumans.

Wearing nothing but a Wave Wand (not even the shield) I have 1903 HP on WHM.

They were wearing full crafting gear or something, I don't know why your tank even pulled unless he just didn't notice.

It was probably just broken healing gear. Would explain why the heals were doing nothing as well (broken weapon).

No we did notice, I told him he wasn't going to cut it and I kicked as soon as 5 min passed. The war just wanted to clear some trash before we got a real healer. THing is I have SB'd full crafting gear as monk and can still kill i49 mobs np, his heals were doing SHIT. He was like a regen bot.

I assume you mean CNJ. I have that much HP on CNJ with that gear, but on WHM I have 2147. I assume he would've noticed and specifically said CNJ if his job stone was unequipped too.

Apparently, today is the stupid tank day.
Got into Garuda story mode. Had to vote abandon it, cause the tank wasn't standing on my markers and tanked her way too close to the pillars, that got anihilated. He wasn't evading slipstreams either, but this at least did not completely wipe us several times.
Next roulette: Haukke normal. The tank was a marauder, who said that he was too lazy to do his jobquests... nice start. At least he was able to hold hate. Most of the time. Right before the last boss he refused to enter, cause we didn't want to go out of the way to kill some mobs with him. Started bitching and telling us how he has all the time in the world. So I just ran in and tanked the bitch, while the second brd grabbed the adds, cause you know, you totally need a tank in low lvl dungeons.
Never going into low lvl roulette as dps again >_>

Woops, yea.

I was on a DoH before I checked and rather than change to WHM and manually unequip everything I just equipped the wand, forgot about job stone.

That reminds me, has anyone else noticed the fact that different crafters have different HP bases? There's 2 tiers, @ 50 I think it's half of them have a higher HP base like they're more beefy crafters or something. Completely irrelevant of course but made me think, somewhere in the design process someone went "let's make some crafters more tanky than others". Wut?

If you had magic stats in the item you had to gear with magic craftmenship. Normal craftmenship was for gear without magic stats

We had our first "freelot" drops this week and we have our loot declarations specified down to 1st/2nd/3rd.

The perils of DF on EN servers I assume. Ran an experiment on Tonberry the other night, went to run Halatali HM with an FC member for their Animus book/cap my Soldiery. I decided to queue "E" only for shits and giggles. We get our party formed and right before we enter I said "I bet we're going to really piss off some English DPS by dragging them into Halatali". Sure enough, dungeon pops and one of the DPS abandons instantly, eating a 30 minute penalty (or maybe avoiding it by quitting fast enough?) to avoid 2 minutes more of dungeon.
