Look at it this way - if you think your price is good, buy out your competitor and relist his shit. Pay other people to buy your stuff and then give it back to you to trend the price up. Manipulate the market. Capitalism, baby. Turtles all the way down.

Got back into CT myself. While it was mostly normal/pleasant for DF, some things still bug me to no end:

• 3 melee, 1 range DPS. People STILL make a melee stand on the panel while the "OT" go poke atomos. I usually just concede and go stand on it myself since logic can't sway most of them in there.

• Bone dragon fight. Healers that medica II/medica spam/aoe aoe aoe and stand there like statues while a bone pounds on them. Granted, a tank should be already voking off them and all, but you know how its better to depend on yourself right?

• Thanatos fight. Tanks don't voke nemesis off others, ever.

The Nemesis are just fkin annoying, they have hate already planted on someone and as a tank you always have to figure out if the person they're after is a tank that already voked it or not and then you need to try and make sure you and another tank aren't gonna waste your vokes on the same one while another wails on some DPS and no one can get it off cause there's no voke.....etc.

I go tank to CT for quick queues and I have to say the Thanatos fight sucks because no other tank ever wants to take Thanatos off you. I always end up with Thanatos and 1-2 Nemesis on me. Also, other tanks don't seem to dodge Crepuscular even if they do take it which leads it chasing around knocked back tanks. 'Oh no guys, no hit area displays so I totally can't step through it and avoid this move entirely!'

In general I've found that tanks are lazy as shit in there (EDIT: Although I guess that applies to the majority). Even the 2 runs where I wasn't tanking KB this week, I had to take over tanking it anyway because somehow the MT managed to die on it. Heaven forbid one of the other tanks leave their precious tower whilst KB chews off their healers face.

Trollin how? I've been dickish in premades before where we pretend we're the only party leading up to Bone Dragon, and calling all the multi-tank duties to ourselves.

If it weren't for needing 12 people to survive Ancient Flare and do Atomos pads I'd have genuinely considered seeing if a single PT can get all the way through CT.

Being dicks in general. Their SCH always start the next fight on purpose before everyone is there. WAR doing random shit to mess up the fight. They settled down after several people called out that they reported them for harassment though.

I don't think anyone is bitching about undercutting in general, but to the extent that people do it. Take crafting AF for example. Most of them go for around 20-25k on my server. The prices between the people who regularly craft them look like this:

Etc etc. We'll generally list at the same price, or 1-10 lower. No big deal, there's really no "war" going on. The occasional item gets posted for a low enough price that someone buys it out and just relists it. And most of the people posting items only put 1 up. They sell fairly slow (a few per day) but almost everyone gets a sale or 2 daily. But then suddenly, someone is like "I WANT TEH MONEYS 2!!11!!" and it goes:

At that point, there's really no buying anything out because if you do, the broface that listed so many just lists 10 more if you buy them. Now you just have a bunch of items labeled "Fuck McStick" that you can't get rid of because somebody decided to tank the market. They do it to "make a quick buck", but listing so many for so cheap doesn't mean faster sales. There's nobody sitting back browsing 1 stars going "oooh, a sale on armorers gloves. I'll take 5!". No, people want what they want, and they buy the first one in the list.

People destroying markets is a perfectly legitimate complaint, especially when people price things for less than they cost to make, and "just sell something else" is about as bad of an excuse as any regarding the situation.

Thats what I said when I explained that to make the item 5 wind hards were necessary, on top of the 4 other mats, which in the case is now a straight loss of 600gils/per items (which is enormous for a random craftable mats that normaly sell for 1100-1200gils/units), and that selling stacks of 60HQ+ for cheaper than NQ due to lazyness is what nuke the market, but then the Forum Witty crew arrived, with their witty argument and perfect logic backup!

As saying "Complaining about this specific matter is dumb, stop crying & move over it" is totaly idiotic considering we're in a random complain thread, if we follow that logic then this whole thread is pointless & everyone should stop complaining all together and move on with the/to another game, cause yeah its just a game.

Putting you back in your place with facts & constructive arguments and being butt hurt are two different things, you might want to look into them. Now you guys can keep playing dumb if you like (& tbh you're doing it pretty well, hand down for the realism) or just accept that this complain is as valid as any other because it hinder progression for alot of people, alike any of these "bads" hinder your personal progression when you guys moan how some crappy MNK couldn't do enough dmg and got the party to wipe.
