New GC Vanity gear, Grids looks like asspossible switch to LL incoming.
This is the one thing I think TERA did better; when PvP queues popped in TERA, you were going in within 15 seconds whether you liked it or not; in here, it just takes one person being a dick to ruin everything.
This. Just got home from work and tried my first run. First boss and everyone bitching and moaning 'Too many people don't know what to do!'
Shock fucking horror, people don't know what to do on Day 1 of new content when zero explanation was offered before pulling. I went and looked it up but jeeze, like even half the playerbase is going to do that.
People who cleared it earlier today bailed out after 1 wipe on the fist boss, funny thing is that when someone asked in /ally if anything was good to know, one of them answered "It should be piece of cake for any noob" but refused to give further explanation, the guy had Scylla's Body of casting. I am not surprised tbh, its where the playerbase is heading.
East coasters in my raid group are getting insane latency.
The funny part is the first boss is the only thing in Syrcus that's not completely trivial. Even then it only takes 10 seconds to explain. Fire -> Ice. Purple -> glowing dots. Stay in the blue circles when she casts. Front loaded filter, I don't mind it, it'll probably provide some laughs in the next week or two. Going in with a premade or a few friends so you have one party that knows the score will get you through Scylla though, albeit a bit slowly if the other parties screw up.
Another major update, another missed attempt at putting in an audio device select for those of us that switch between speakers and headphones a lot.
Annoying having to reload the game to get sound back to my main speakers.
They still haven't fixed the Duty List to be what it was in the FUCKING BETA.
YOU HAD IT RIGHT THEN YOU FUCKED IT UP, HOW HARD IS IT TO JUST UN-FUCK IT.
HAS SE NOT DISCOVERED CTRL+Z TECHNOLOGY?
Can't wait to dye that AF gear!

No.
man garuda couches all shot up to 100k+ on balmung
my dreams of a private room packed wall-to-wall with garuda couches have been shattered
undercutting legions, where are you
I was very lucky with my CT group. I think almost everyone was new, but we had one person provide quick explanations before each fight. We only wiped once on last boss but was cake before and after that. I've got Oil of Time too, so I think I'm done for the week![]()
Trying to get into Frontlines, I 90k on the loading screen after 72/72 and end up not-inside the zone. Twice in a row now.
The concept of a Syrcus video guide amuses me greatly. Simply not required. Anything that can't be explained in 10 seconds can be learnt by watching other alliance members. Having said that I'm sure there's a 20 minute Mr. Happy guide incoming.
20 minutes? There is 4 bosses in the encounter, and a bunch of trash. We're looking at atleast a 3hr video on how to tactically pull monsters, where to fight them and talk in a very sarcastic and snakry tone.
I was actually disappointed that you could pick off most of the fodder one small group at a time in ST. I wanted a mess of 9+ mobs for 3 tanks to try and deal with.
I'm sure MrHappy will have a video guide for it overexplaining every minor detail of every mob in CT2.
