Hunt target HP. My connection's not too bad but even if I teleport as soon as I get word something's up, it evaporates while I'm still loading to a new zone. Spent a couple of hours yesterday and have a whopping 6 seals to show for it.

Biggest problem with Hunts is their HP and the reward criteria. The ability to get credit should be buffed like they did to Odin and Behemoth. All Hunt mobs need to have like 100x the HP. S ranks should have the HP of odin/behemoth so that they at least last 3-5 minutes instead of 30 seconds. Literally its pointless. From the time to tele to the zone, and get to the A-S rank mob, its dead. Shit dies so fast.
I just don't get why they gave these so little HP. You would think they would have learned from Odin/Behemoth.. Open world NM hunting with spawn conditioned are a GREAT idea and I am happy they did it, but their implementation is beyond awful

An issue wherein the “Desynthesize” action may cause the server to crash.
So, I get my account situated and I login but I haven't played since the first month re-launch. Now, playing again, the game launches and runs smoothly but after a few minutes, my entire PC locks up, BSOD. I have had updated GPU drivers since I last played but every other game runs swimmingly: WoW, D3, Minecraft, Skyrim. I am going to roll back the drivers and see if that helps. Anybody else experiencing similar issues? I'm getting a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT error at the BSOD. (Google returns results all over the place)
PM me your system dumb and I can help.
Ok so I just messed around with my FC house settings. You can still make a rank that has no estate hall access. I haven't been able to test if someone with a private room gets locked out tho
In regards to locking people out by changing permissions: It works, but not if they have already purchased a room. The first thing I thought of was to make him a rank that lacked house access so maybe if he was unable to use his room he wouldn't want to squat in the FC. However, he was still able to enter the house at his leisure because apparently having a room overrules the permission forbidding you to enter.
We were debating this issue, luckily nobody has tried to do something shady. Have you spoken to a GM about it? I have to imagine they've got something temporary set up to deal with it.
You probably already know this but a fix for this is in the works.
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post2247794(emphasis mine)Greetings,
Currently it is not possible to kick players that possess a private chamber from free companies, but in a future patch we will be making this possible.
Gil spent on a private chamber will not be returned to a player when they are kicked from a free company; however, furniture that can be removed from the room will be stored with the “Resident Caretaker” NPC for a certain amount of time, and only the player will be able to retrieve them.
I'm aware. But it means I'm out of luck for the moment.
If you're like most FCs you probably have an associated LS, kick him from that and just use LS chat exclusively, when he can't even eavesdrop on FC chatter maybe he'll get the hint.
I hope this is all around hunt drama because I can't think of a reason why you would wait until a patch to kick someone.
They need to get rid of the unique tag on maps.
It serves no purpose other than to inconvenience.
Yoshi needs to slap whoever decided to tie personal room info to the FC house instead of the character. Would have made the whole system of kicking someone much easier, and you just look the other way with that setup allowing that room to transfer across houses.
Doing stone vigil hard. 2 people are new, and the other guy who has done it asks if someone else can explain... because its hard to type on PS4. I'm like sure, and I proceed to explain first boss.
Then it begins. He interjects twice while I'm explaining first boss, which I thought were simple enough. Fine. We kill since it was easy anyways.
Second boss, I explain about cannons and junk. He again interrupts with his own explanations. At this point I'm just hahaok mode.
Last boss, I just wanted to watch the world burn. I don't bother explaining and the other guy apparently doesn't feel the need to either. People die multiple times but we still won. Some people...
How the game can still take upwards of 5 minutes to kick your d/cing corpse while you sit there in the character select lobby trying to get back in.
