30 myth total for an AK run.
Did an experiment in ST. Went in as bard, auto-attacked, threw up a random foe requiem, still pulled hate and died. At the very least I got a commendation out of it.
Surprised to hear about bad ST runs. I've had nothing but good experiences with a few runs in < 40 min territory.
Not sure if complaint or not, but I've done 3 or 4 ST runs and every time the people I go with make me tank, and every time somehow I am chosen for main tank across the entire alliance. I still have no fucking clue about the mechanics in Scylla/Amon. Ice, lightning, fire, frogs, slimes, snakes and I'm oblivious to it all because it doesn't affect the MT. Tanking in ST is sooooooooooooooooo boring.
Here's a fun ST complaint though. Did an ST last night with my coil team. We like to troll a bit in CT; keep it fresh. Party B tank shouts "I want to MT" at Scylla. Our SMN sends in Garuda-Egi first just to mess with him. I gave this PLD a good 15 seconds to pull hate while I saw hate bouncing everywhere and then just said fuck it and did it myself. PLD shouts "way to go with your fucking Garuda", I reply with "way to fucking tank", and queue shouting match between our two parties. My group tried to tell him he could've junk provoked and done his thing, but he was adamant that "provoke just puts you at the top of the hate list". We're like, no shit it does, once you're there, keep doing stuff to hold hate. I don't know how that guy was a tank. Midway through the shout fest, crybaby PLD dropped out of the ST because he got too butthurt.
I've MTed a bunch and have no idea how shit works. I just eat most of the AoE too except the 1 shot stuff people yell about.
My dead ass static was in the same position; we were giving these goddamn Healing and Casting Coats away to PUGs at the end (DDs at least managed to get a couple accessories..). All my co-tank and I got out of it were a Sand each for fucking Noct Lorica. I still don't understand why anyone is against the idea of being able to BiS one job while the stuff is still relevant, given how quickly it won't be top-tier anymore (6~ months).
Coil's RNG is fucking ass and adding the Sands-Oil lottery to stretch out the thin as fuck endgame needs to go away forever. Tower-type lockout or just being able to only get one piece a week per Turn with no restrictions on repeating it or something is infinitely better.
You can only look forward to it so many times before you're just done.
I just want to clear T5. This is bullshit. My FC is okay, but we can never transition through to the Dreadknight smoothly for some reason. I want to experience the new coil, and get some sweet-ass HA gear. Especially the healer body, because the Daystar robe is shit.
Not clearing that still hurts me on the insideWhat's not clean about transition, people getting slayed on first twister or tanks cant keep hate on adds during AssClapious
First twister, mostly. We get into position fairly easily, but between the positioning and getting on the Dread, idk what goes wrong. It's also been about a month and a half since we last attempted it. 2.3 has been keeping me fairly busy with Hunts and ST, at least. =/
All I can really say is practice then. Twisters is the hardest mechanic it seems for everybody but it is insanely easy imo
As far as bad ST runs, I'm with Sath. I've only had one run that was shitty and the alliance vote dismissed after 5 failed attempts at Sylla or w/e its name is. Every other run has been real smooth
That's actually better than what I've been using (Sadders).
Dyed it looks kinda okay, but the shoulders are too fucking bulky IMO. That's my biggest problem with it. Remove the shoulders and I'd love it more.
4 Monk Belts, 0 Heads.
Goddamn it, I'll be stuck forever with the ilvl 90 one.
