FFXIV Random Complaint Thread: Look forward to it

I really don't understand that, I had a group where the healer forgot he had cleric on the whole first boss and no one cared. Yes we wiped too, as MT was barely getting healed through all the random shit on the screen. I normally don't complain at all because I know where it leads (I just leave if it comes to it) but if no one is dead and you win, what is there to cry about? Is it the other healer then?

Every time someone tries to mark ABC on trash mobs, I just erase the markers and watch the butthurt.

Well, it's one thing if you forget you have cleric on altogether, but switching on/off you will have no problem healing people unless they screw up too much.

Had a healer once in ST who insisted on marking him and the other healer so the poor DPS could tell when they are too far from heals ("I'm not coming to you, you come to me"). I kept erasing his marks and he kept putting it back up for awhile.

Eventually after we wiped on Xande and after bitching the whole run, he "called out" the other healer (who was doing fine) on being terrible at his job. We (entirely random DF party) vote kicked him for harassment and were all (except for one person playing devil's advocate) very happy to see him go.

Your own debuffs show up first... if they are in the first 30. Debuffs 31-60 (and if refreshed, they keep their ticket number) will just not show up. Even if your Bio is buff 35 and debuffs fall off such that there are only 5 up, you will never see your own Bio if you keep refreshing it.

Wow. That's just... to be expected of SE at this point, I guess.

Random question to anyone that has dummies at their house (or can find one anywhere on their server in a ward): can you build LB in housing zones? This would make it really easy (if time-consuming) to nail down how LB damage is calculated for a given party, or something. Can find out myself tonight when I get enough friends on to afk, but figured I'd ask if anyone already knows.

This would make it really easy (if time-consuming) to nail down how LB damage is calculated for a given party, or something. Can find out myself tonight when I get enough friends on to afk, but figured I'd ask if anyone already knows.

I know for a fact that we did Caster LB1 on our dummy at the house (everyone was like wtf) but it seems to be a glitch because we haven't been able to reproduce it. Or we're just dumb, also a possibilty. We also found out that you can hit dummies on your neighbor's lawn as well which is perfect since I bought my alt's FC house next to my main FC's house so we can have dummies all over the place.

Unless it changes with a hot fix it was working two days back. You need 4 people and it should work. I bought striking dummies for this very reason.

If it was changed its because someone bitched that their house got bombed.

Lvl2 worked as well.

I spam Flare, and when I run out of mana and don't have convert+trans up I sit there and look around until I have MP to use flare again

Only thing (not sure if obvious) is that whole party has to actually be in zone, even if it's a 5 person party and 4 people are in zone it doesn't work. This is another reason why dicks in DF who "d/c" and aren't vote kicked can screw you over. The thing I wanted to know is if everyone had to actively hit it or be in combat range of the dummy as well, or if you could just say touch it and the other 3 people could do w/e as long as they stay in zone.

Think we were the first people to have dummies in our ward so we were semi-popular for a bit. Props to our coil MNK/DRG who sprung for 3 of them instead of a sand or something.

The abundance of shitty tanks, dont use enmity combos or overpower/flash, fighting a bomb that puts a big round circle on the ground stand in it and get one shotted, along with every other ability an enemy does that is telegraphed. By the big ass red get the fuck out indicators on the ground. Fuck it last two dungeons on Archer I just tanked everything pulled the bosses and gave no fucks. Last run of Halitali after trying to explain to the tank how to hold hate and not die and him ignoring it his response at the end of the dungeon. "To hell with this i'm going back to soloing"

Was in an Ifrit HM as SCH. Other healer was i100+ and died. Really? How do you even die at i100+, you have more HP than tanks had when they were at the "proper" iLvl for the fight.

How many CT2 runs do I have to do before it's justifiable to torch the server? Did 45 last week and only 1 pair of BRD pants dropped (lost lot). Done 16 this week with no drop. Even my poor wife has been doing runs for me when I'm at work and not seen them (she went 1/3 on her own char)

Shit is getting ridiculous now. Such a waste of time and having to deal with so many bads...

Gee, you lost hate? In full i100 welfare? Of course you did! You just body-pulled the target, and had no offensive buffs up to make the initial hate combos hit hard enough to stabilize hate against Medica2-spamming WHMs and overzealous DPS-SCH BRDs.

I still occasionally get one of these in Titan HM roulette. It's vein popping when they complain that the tank can't keep hate when they manage to drain 1/2 of their MP before the 2nd jump on Medica 2s.
