Thank you very much for playing FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.
We would like to make a clarification regarding our previous announcement “Regarding Congestion in Japan Data Center Worlds (Aug. 27)” in which we stated that we are preparing to increase the capacity of our data centers.
The first half of the announcement regarding login and character creation restrictions was directed towards our players who would be playing during peak hours in Japan data center Worlds.
However, the second half of the announcement regarding increasing the capacity of our data centers was meant to also encompass North American and European data center Worlds and not just be limited to Japan data center Worlds.
We deeply apologize for causing concern amongst the North American and European community due to our lack of clarity. Capacity will be increased for data centers in all regions.
Once again, thank you for your understanding and cooperation to help us welcome more players to the game.
Honestly, the best way to maintain level-appropriate quests is to expend all you have access to and return to the main scenario quests. They will guide you through the world, forcing you to travel through just about each and every level-range camp/area in the game. You'll learn really quickly what areas are for what levels.

Yeah.
Thanks TokiToki.
On an unrelated note what's the deal with that slow motion walk NPCs seem to do in cut-scenes? It looks like there's an invisible layer of molasses slowing everyone down.
I fucking did the visit cities to listen to GC leaders quest in wrong order (waited overnight and just forgot as I went through it).
Realized it right as I finished 3rd cutscene ><
Anybody know if I missed anything that matters?
Meh first game impression in beta and now WAS positive untill I decided to do sastasha...I remember the good old days of wow when half the people where braindead and the other half didn't know what the fuck they were doing. Also the fact that on release the duty finder takes half an hour because people are spamming lfg instead of queueing is making me seriously reconsider, wish the game actually taught to clueless players what's the healer or tank role, because apparently it isn't teaching it well enough right now...
The fact that you're stuck with clueless people for the ffxiv dungeons is also killing my patience, they're really too damn long -_-
that for me defeats the whole point, since I know no one in ffxiv that is playing right now, and I don't care about shouting "LFG SASTASHA" for hours just to find the same person I'd find with the tool...I actually play wow and the duty finder is the same, still I'm bloody allergic to dumbasses in parties, I tried being nice for 40 minutes trying to help the guy getting a bit better without ever being an ass, but we died so many times and he never answered/gave any sign of life, I just give up with these people...
I still find that's bloody idiotic to be stuck in these long ass dungeons with uncollaborative people <.<
What dungeons? I've done the 1st three and those are short as hell. Maybe because i'm the tank and don't sit around jacking it 90% of the time between pulls? I mean they arnt as short as WoW dungeons but then again you can't chain pull everything in the dungeon while standing there going "LOL AOE LOL AOE LOL AOE...ok where's my loot?"The fact that you're stuck with clueless people for the ffxiv dungeons is also killing my patience, they're really too damn long -_-
Turned in all the GC Supply requests I could before maintenance. It had about 7~ hours left on the ticker. When I logged on it would seem the timers reset and I have nothing new to turn in. Buh.
Dragonhead dumped like a dozen quests on me. Sure is nice that I can only track 5 of them.
I'm running into the problem that when a quest gets pushed down by enough additional quests, their icons/areas/objectives bug out and no longer appear on your main or mini maps... you then have to open your journal, choose the quest, and open its dedicated map... and you have to do that every time you want to check where objectives are.
I really miss being able to toggle which quests I specifically do or don't want to keep tabs on.
THE WOLVES ARE SNOOPING AROUND THE STABLES!
