It's ok, this issue will be resolved with 2.4. Then you can BiS everything for your main per 2.3 standards!

I did mine because I figured I'd get it before I'd get a sand from PUGing Coil. Then along comes 2.3 handing out sands like candy. Too many alex collected by then to stop.

Novus was fine if you did it casually, IE your daily roulette and spending Myth on maps. 2.3 didn't just hand out sands like candy though, it did the same with Myth and I got my last 20-30 alex very quickly once I started doing hunts. Animus on the other hand, the only way to get it in any reasonable amount of time was to grind shit content and I want no part of that.

With how easy tomestone weapons are to get now and the price of materia anyone would have to be crazy to start a new animus/novus now. I'm not even collecting alex for a second.

I have like 33 alex for a second one but there's no way I'd build another if the only real way to do it was to max crit and det with no real alternative. I mean sure there's always another way but if you're doing it just to be cheap and no other rationale, it seems like wasted effort.

Crit and det are always making a best in slot when you talk about a dps weapon. But remember you have 10 other piece of gears for secondary stats.

You just can't stick 31 determination or 44 crit hit on any of those slots by choice and definitely not at the same time . Well aware how it works, am just commenting how i and other might feel about the price paid to achieve maximum effect. It's a deterrent to making another one for many.

Glamouring Soldiery gear while it's dyed to look like Myth gear(I.E. Noct Lorica to look like Paladin Body) removes the dye from the body on those that cannot show the glamour. Fuck you, SE. I want my black WAR body, and my PLD to look like a PLD still!

BRD's get Repelling Shot, which they very rarely get any real use out of because they're virtually always at range.

Melee constantly need to dodge short range AoE but get no such skill (Elusive doesn't count, goddamn 3 min cooldown gtfo).

Playing BRD on my alt in a 3 ranged DPS T7 makes it so irritatingly obvious how useful such a skill would be for melees.

(clarification: if you have 1 melee 3 ranged DPS in T7 as long as one of the ranged DPS stays in melee range of Melusine they won't get targeted by fireball, and Repelling shot is insanely convenient for dodging circle blade)
