In their defense, a lot of MMOs are shit at the start. Wasn't WoW plagued with random DCs for the first week or two? Though at the same time I never seen a game have to shut down creation on half their servers..

Though yeah, still pisses me off every NA server is closed and not open to new characters til further notice while every JP server except roughly 5 are open for new characters. Was hoping I could play with my GW2 buddies, but seems like it won't happen.

worked for me the past 2 days in a row, i wouldnt do this shit if there was a working queue, but fuck trying to click login at the right time vs 1000's of other people.

can't get on our mains on cactuar with our LS, which were the people we started playing 11 with back in 2004, 1017 for us. so after 2 hours we get fed up and just make new characters on Exodus. only, we didnt' actually make new characters on Exodus. it looks like you picked it, but, because they're all closed, it just plants you on the next available open server, which is an EU server. didn't realize this until this evening when trying to log in and i have no character on Exodus. so, wasted 4 hours last night on a character i just deleted tonight, can't log onto my main or build another character on a less populated server. not really happy about the start of this. game is really better than decent (i'm like lvl 12 on my main so i'm not going to call it 'good' because i haven't seen enough of it, but at least it didnt' make me want to gouge my eyes out playing it...when i actually get to play it) but this is beyond fucking annoying.

Also i've missed a few quest turn in locations because I didn't see the icon on the map due to not zooming in far enough and it being covered by other icons lol. Ran past Vesper bay into some lvl 42 area before I realized I had gone too far. Wtb height indicator too, kind of annoying when a turn in icon is there, but there are 3 levels where said NPC could be standing.
