For the record I've probably killed less than 50 hunt mobs since release, so grain of salt.

Yeah you need to do something "offensive" before the enmity counts towards the reward. Non-cleric stance aero is generally the go-to.

You must be a quick shooter to get one out during the brief time the mob is alive after pull.

Fluid Aura is good too since it doesn't even eat a GCD.

Hunting is too easy with a full party of tanks and healers. There is no reason to go as DPS. Our server has a pretty organized hunting linkshell led by Faq. I go WHM and consistently get full credit with a WAR friend of mine from FC. Sometimes, even with just us two we can get full credit with no problem on A ranks.

- Be among the first people there. (lower graphics settings and disable names)
- Precast Medica II prior to pull and make sure you're close to mob. (I've had problem registering enmity because I was too far on one instance.)
- Aero mark on pull and make sure it lands because it can miss on B. I'm i108 WHM.
- Swiftcast Divine Seal Medica II.
- Sprint and stack on at least 2 people, if only 1 preferably a tank.
- Presence of Mind and spam Cure III.
- ???
- Full credit.

That WAR friend has 99 logs. No lie. And he skips B ranks.

Already done with pretty much every drop sans HA Grimoire of Casting. We never saw a SMN book in Coil 1 either so not expecting it.

I think you care way too much about seasonal events tho, if anything I'm glad SE isn't pissing away time on them.
