If someone finds a mob, they know what the mob is, when they relay that info to their party/LS, they have no reason not to say what it was.

Any further relays of that information need but 1 goddamn letter attached, B A S, a whole keystroke.

I don't feel like wasting my time running out to goddamn BFE <one of the larger zones> for a B that's going to be dead before I'm halfway there and end up missing an early pulled A that spawned in the zone I was scouting.

See you guys must be having terrible luck or the hunt system on your server isn't very good.

If someone in my party(or LS) is currently at a monster and gives the location, I will relay that to the LS's. Click on his <pos>, you get a <flag> press your macro. Done. If you or anyone else hand types coordinates you're already slowing down the pipeline of information. The only acceptable time to do this is by going click <pos>, click the closest aetheryte, (mid teleport) use your flag macro, then you may type a letter for the rank while you have auto run going. Anything else besides using multiple flag macros for every rank is slower. If you miss the monster because it was a B then oh well 300g down the drain. If you miss the monster because it was A then thats on you(and possibly early pullers). otherwise, theres no reason not to go. If you're consistently behind the horde then you need to rethink where your info is coming from.

Edit: I guess i still didnt address why I can't type 1 letter. Most of the info is from relays anyway so often times i'm relaying a relay of a relay. If the first guy who saw the monster says the name, I need the 2nd guy to give the name/rank or press his premade A/B macro. Then when i relay that to my group i also need to give the name/rank or press the premade A/B macro. Every time someone does it, at least 1 person will consider to not go because it could be Naul and its in behemoth dominion. If they dont want to come then oh well, better hope it wasnt an A.

Yea, those BAS buttons are just so hard to find.

The only way I can manage to include the rank of the mob when I find or relay a hunt position is sheer willpower alone.

Shit's not easy, but I do it for the kids.

0) you don't have a hunt tracker up to know what Bs and As are about to pop
1) pos call in a big zone
2) it's far away from an aetheryte
3) they didn't label a name
4) nobody else relayed a pos call with a name or rank
5) your entire party misses the buildup to the B and you miss the tag
6) there's an A call
7) it's also far from the aetheryte
8) you ignore the call long enough for enough people to gather and early pull it
9) your entire party misses the buildup to the A again
10) you still don't have a hunt tracker up to know what Bs and As are about to pop

Nah, I only hunt when my FC already has a crew going. I can count the number of times I've shouted that on one hand.

I have a really great hunt LS on Hyperion (they're the guys running the server-wide hunt TS that is shouted periodically). I just have four macros that make it pretty easy to pass along the info I get:

1) B rank I've found: Notification with <flag> goes to current party, FC, hunt linkshell with rank named
2) A rank I've found: Notification with <flag> goes to current party, FC, hunt linkshell with rank named
3) Relay from Hunt LS: Click posted flag then hit macro which relays to current party and FC
4) Relay from Party / other source: Click posted flag then hit macro which relays to FC and hunt linkshell

Not that bad really. For 3 and 4, I just manually follow up with the rank when I get that info.

The best way to get a LS revived it start announcing stuff.

I run with 2 announcement macros one is for Party,Coil LS, Friend LS, the other is for my 3 Hunt LS.

I've found that announcing to my Hunt LSs (2 are very dead) leads to other people announcing making hunts easier. If nobody joins in from the Hunt LS I'll stop or I'll wait until my Party/Coil/Friends are already gather and then announce.

They should have just made philo mats cost a lesser amount of mytho rather than changing them over to GC seals.

Mytho rains from every event, seals....not really. Mytho mats are only like 2x the value of philo mats atm.

Going to be great when myth gets phased out and cashmere/saurian etc cost 10k apiece from GC or 500 hunt seals or something.

The annoying thing is you always need fucking 9 philo mats to craft anything with them.

I assume it was intentional to roadblock them a little behind dungeon-farming/GC, since their recipes are still used in 2*/3* synths, as well as unlocking the mastery books.

I badly understated the price difference even (or lack thereof).

Right now:

Peacock ore/Animal Fat/Coke ~8k

Saurian skin ~8k, Cashmere ~9k, Scheelite ~10k, Raziq ~9k, Emery ~14k (probably about to drop more in line with the others over the day)

Eh? I don't think philo mats are used in any 3* synths.

The price of the philo stuff is as high as it is mostly due to desynth leveling I would think, Mytho are as low as they are because with hunts/FL everything's shitting Mytho anyway.

Philo mat made items (i.e. Rose Gold Ingot) are definitely used in 3-star augmentations and prob some new 3-star furniture.

Somehow I don't think useless vanity augmentations and furniture are sucking up that much of the philo mat supply.
