Why the fuck can you not pass on an item after lotting it?

Especially in a game with FUCKING ONE PIECE OF GEAR PER WEEK LOCKOUTS. Accidentally lotted some shitty brd sash in ST because I was still in "greed everything" mode from other dungeons.

The heart breaking thing about this is they know better, they been there, done that, but then decide to just, eloquently, derp it up. It probably takes at most one line of coding to fix it. Okay, technically a few, but it's not brain surgery.

Annoyed by the fact that feeding a rank 10+ chocobo gives less % per feeding than the lower ranks. 1-9 all gave 1%, 10 is giving 0.9% and I'd imagine 11 (which I'll have in a couple hours) will be even less. The stables are for sure clean, as it's sparking/says clean/others are getting a solid 1%.

Philo mat made items (i.e. Rose Gold Ingot) are definitely used in 3-star augmentations and prob some new 3-star furniture.

Also some of the 3-star furniture will use a single philo mat, like alchemy furnace uses 1x coke, etc.

I really hope desynthesis wasn't going to be SEs solution to what to do with old equipment.

Aside from the fact that it costs a fuckton of time and gil to get it to a level high enough to desynth anything worthwhile, you're limited to only 3 skills, so everything not covered by those 3 skills (which, again, just to level is a pretty huge undertaking) is still inventory rot.

-Must laboriously level skills individually at great expense
-Can only level 3 skills out of 8
-The most significant items that come from primal weapons and virtually all higher ilvl gear are mats to make 5th string vanity versions of the same weapons at great expense and difficulty when better weapons have been out for many months already (and even more were released in the very same patch with the addition of Ramuh)
-Only crafted i90 gear can be desynthed, making both the leveling process that much more difficult and lessening the usefulness of desnythesis that much more

I know they want to keep on ensuring that crafting remains a largely flaccid and useless hobby but come on.

If this was their answer to what to do with old gear I should just toss all of my AF2/allagan gear/primal weapons and be done with it.

At this point I'd even accept turning them in for goddamn company seals (which ironically would be kind of useful since desnythesis is part of the reason the price of philo mats has spiked).

To be fair once melded them i95 weps are sexy.

They equal i100 so unless your turning out t9 luck or spamming atma and boom farming its easy as hell to spend 15mil or so after melds of course for a good wep.

Unless there's a +DMG materia I'm unaware of, I don't see how the i95 crafted stuff can equal an i100 weapon.

If the i100 wep has awful (for damage) secondaries like acc/speed/PIE/parry, a i95 with enough crit/det can be "better". i95->i100 is "only" +1 damage for mage weapons also. +2 for DoW weapons so it's more ambiguous.

Which is very odd....mage weapons have naturally larger damage values so generally they either gain the same amount or more damage with each increase.

The jump from i90->i95 is "backwards" iirc (+1 DoW, +2 DoM) so I assume it's some odd rounding for the x5 digit tier.

Complaint: Beating T9 is really bittersweet. Of course I'm happy to beat it, but I found myself multiple times this week sitting in FC house wondering what the fuck to do. Last night another FC group that's still working on T8 progression was doing Avatar and they were streaming. I checked the viewer list and saw most of the people watching were people from my coil group.

Because I fucking hate hunts. I stopped doing them and have no plans to till they fix the system. Sorry rushing a mob with 500 people all day long is not fun to me even if it nets the 3rd best wep in the game.

Even if you like hunts, "multiple i110 weapons" is likely only 1~2 (+1~2 for Novus) because of the Soldiery cockblock.
