Not really. The filtering is done client-side, it would be unpleasant doing it server-side for however many people are attacking the mob.

If your client or the server can't show you if your own debuffs are on a mob, regardless of how many are already there, then it's absolutely terrible coding. Meanwhile in another MMO, things run smooth as day with hundreds going, with your own right at the front, and without them becoming hidden on some mystery debuff bar that the game can't handle displaying.

I think it's simple. Doubling debuff limit was just a quick band-aid they did for CT, and they haven't had time to go around and fix/polish it up.

Joined ST in progress. The party is already at the trash before Amon. All good. I naturally, wait by the teleporter. Someone not from my party died in there and returned to the start. Spammed me with /shock and /disgust then typed in /a that I'm leeching the run. Damn ethics police.
