Well the last time they added a new ward, they did the "legacy pays more" shit while others started at almost half the price, and then had it slowly work it's way down over time. From 2.3 patch notes when they added ward 6:

Didnt pay much attention to housing stuff until now. A few of us decided to buy a large house, went to check the price of a large plot and apparently every ward ever is sold out on Excalibur. Are they going to be adding more wards soon? How much do large plots usually run on legacy servers?

Right now there are no vacant plots for housing, so even if you had the gil you can't build a house. What are you planning on doing in the housing wards when you add individual housing?

Kasuga: It's in consideration now and we're about to make a decision.
Yoshida: We'll be adding more land in patch 2.38 along with the addition of personal housing. As far as how much land we're adding, we won't know until the last minute.
Kasuga: It's not only about the server infrastructure required. We prepare the infrastructure first and if the demand is greater than what we assumed, we do our best to work on it with software changes, but we need to estimate the amount of manpower needed to go through the programming and verification tests since those can be time-consuming processes.
Yoshida: We need to determine the fastest, most cost-effective way. Expanding our server capacity can cost hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars, so we have to leave those judgments to the engineers.

I still don't understand why Midgardsormr is lumped in with those other servers. This server's population can't possibly be on the same tiers as those Legacy servers. Our economy is retarded as well. We haven't even capped out every one of the 1-5 wards yet, much less any 6th.

I seriously hope they don't count people who don't play anymore when calculating these prices.

Fuck Artisan tools and fuck needing 45 GC mats per DoH to get the mastery book to mind-numbingly craft 50 HQ mats from, which needs a good 100 prep synths unless you throw gil at the marketboard. If desynth wasn't a pants-on-head retard of a grind I'd go straight for the supra.

Trying to get off my ass and finish getting all my DoH 3* capable. 2 jobs done, 4 melded so far. But that synth grind.

If it makes you feel better we never got a SMN book in Coil1 and it's looking like we won't get one in Coil2 either. Good thing the only guy who wants it plays BLM too.

Already known but saying it anyways, OT is only as good as the MT's ability to hold hate. Got HA axe, couldn't increase DPS without getting aggro, time in T8 better spent doing manderville.

Is it even possible to go straight for Supra without having Artisan's for crafting the items needed?
