Doesn't that issue just happen if you're moving while the effect occurs? I had it happen to me a few times, and now I just make sure I'm not moving and I haven't had a problem since.

Too memorable.

If that was still in the game and it cut out 30s in like the music does people would riot, so they replaced it with shittier music that people wouldn't mind cutting in and out constantly.

Well it does kinda play during Ul'dahs story intro, along with one of the Post Moogle quest cutscenes, but same can be said for Windy Meadows and whatever Black Shroud's music was.

Problem is they clash horribly with the style of the rest of the music in the game. GRANTED, it's not like this game has much of an identity anyway in terms of aesthetics and feel.

Good to know they made good use of it by putting it in 2 whole CSs.

One of which most of the playerbase will never see, the other most probably skipped because it's boring.

Emerald Labyrinth or something, which was more "ooh spooky forest" and I don't think used at all in the deliverymog quests like the others.

The 1.0 battle themes deserve a return somewhere. Forest's Pulse, Quicksand, Nail of the Heavens!

Well it seems like they're slowly bringing back old music as we get new content, so I really hope they'll continue the trend and add it in a way that people can actually enjoy it. The old battle themes could be used in the expansion and such, same as some of the old zone music. Then again, this is SE we're talking about.

Aside from the clusterfuck of a map that was the black shroud, I absolutely loved the music and overall atmosphere of the zone.

Dont hunt that much but have got about 20 logs. Sanded every piece of gear and 2 weapons. Mostly Hunt for myth and Alexandrites, got 2 logs solo yesterday even. Now Im sitting on 7 logs. Pretty crazy when I basically started hunting to speed up the Novus quest and sand a couple pieces.
