The second one shouldn't ever happen. I just did a Qarn as PLD and a fully geared 50 brd was doing his own thing and while he stole hate for like a second a couple of times before I realized he wasn't attacking the same target as the melee, I had it back instantly. A good tank can keep hate on everything through good use of AoEs and spreading out his enmity combo between the mobs.

PLD is also fucking boring.

Should make all paladins do dungeons as gladiator every now and then so they can learn how to hold aggro without shield oath.

Why make them go to high school before passing elementary ( I know it's backward but most tank can't hold hate WITH oath so the won't learn much without)

I just initiate pulls as a SCH, because once I start AoEs, I might as well be the tank.

I usually get kicked if i start pulling (It's not your job to pull, pulling before the tank is an arogant behavior)

I end up pulling as a healer every few weeks. I'll run into a tank that pulls 2 mobs (or even a single one do to roaming mobs) and takes around a full min after to pull the next set. This is not a god damn brisk walk in the park. Fuck!

If I have time to pull, you have time to pull faster. If you want to kick me for pulling faster then you saved me the penalty from dropping.

The times I pull hate regularly from bane on SCH in dungeons makes me wonder if tanks go into retard mode if they see no 'normal' AoE DPS in the group.

When I came back to game for 2.3 I was wondering whether it's the new gear that makes me pull hate constantly dps'ing as SCH, but it seems just most tanks are crap.

Flash/Overpower/Steel_Cyclone are hard.

Oh god yes.

After I made Conqueror on my main I decided I might as well make Buttgang on my alt for some variety, but when I do dungeons on my alt (rarely, but still) I go as WAR with allagan axe rather than PLD with Burt.

Standing around spamming Flash just makes you feel like such a flaccid dick compared to Berserk+Bloodbath+IR+Vengeance+OVERPOWRAWR spam.

I'm leveling gld right now and my god do I hate the "gotta go fast" dps. There are so many who just charge through rooms ahead of me and get beat to shit before me/healer even get there...kinda want to just let them die at that point. Toto-rak is pretty much worst dungeon for this kind of shit because of web walls. The number of times healer gets left behind while dps are standing knee-deep in mobs and not bothering to tear the wall down is kind of depressing. The other thing that irks me is pretty much the 2nd comic wherein I number mobs for the slow ones and they still go out of order anyway.

Also to add to the pile of fail tanks, I had one gld in a low dungeon the other day (I think it was Toto-rak actually) who must have thought he was a l33t Assassin because he was wearing a white mage robe >.> Sadly, he wasn't even one of the worst tanks I've had recently, just one of the most notable...

Nice of this bug to rear its head again. For whatever reason it prevents you from logging/exiting to desktop, unless you try to close the game via Windows which then lets the prompt work.\

Can't do fuck all while it's happening, last thing I did was a mining quest, then ported back to town.

Zoning fixes it. At least you're not in a housing area the Gridanian housing zone (no zones available).

If you go to the zone entrance does the prompt not come up when you try to leave?

Oh, sorry. I live in the lavender beds. We have a boat dude rather than a zone.

I actually don't know what happens if you're in any other housing zone, but you definitely can't interact w/ the boat guy.

My FC house in Lavender too, forgot there wasn't a regular zone line for it (since I always just tele).
