ST Complaint:

Queue for tank is significantly longer than Q for melee DPS. Get tired of waiting, go as melee DPS (even tho it's annoying as fk to play in CT/ST).

Get stuck with tanks that don't know wtf they're doing and/or don't want to do anything, end up having to pull shit as DRG because I'm tired of just standing around waiting for one of them grow a pair.

Me (DRG) and a BRD in the alliance basically tanked the 1st 10% of Xande last night because even after I got tired of waiting and pulled it none of them wanted to fucking do anything until he started going for one of the WHMs curebombing us.

edit: also it's so stupid that neither tank can use Keen Flurry, even without the trait enhancement it's such a good skill that completely goes to waste

Coincidentally, I just tried this last night after being unable to use my card all year, and it magically worked.

I'm already expecting it. I wouldn't really complain either because thats more stuff to fit into the 2.4 trailer to get hyped about. If I can get an early/mid October 2.4 in place of housing in 2.38 i'd be okay with that.

Please teach me, account won't unlock and VISA verified that SE's silly $1 "checking" transaction did go through. Can't believe how they can't get a credit card system to work in 2014.

EDIT: Talked to live support, other than the guy pretty much trying to shoo me away, he pretty much just got me to bypass SE and use Ultimate Pay > > SE instead.

On a side note, at least it allowed me to drain my remaining Crysta since it allows you to buy any specific quantity of Crysta you want instead of pre-determined amounts. Bought like 700 Crysta since I still had 200 odd on my account from 1.0

The problem I suspect I had for the longest time (can't confirm since SE has tighter account security than Ft. Knox and yet it still fucks up) was that my SE account has my nickname as my first name, which doesn't match the name on my credit card.

I don't know if they've only recently switched to Global Collect, I don't remember seeing the Global Collect bit come up prior to my update last night, so I'm not sure if that's why it's working for me now.

I got the infamous error 401 too when I moved back to Japan, and used a non-japanese card to pay towards my EU account. I remember reading somewhere that the problem was using a credit card that doesn't match the location of your IP address. I had thought of calling my sister to get her to do it for me, then I remembered I had a Japanese card.

That was for the extra retainers. We shall findout what happens during auto-renewal, which is still using my old card I believe.

I had issues registering a new credit card once. I talked to support, and this one very helpful guy asked if I was using Firefox, and if I had add-ons that prevented cookies and ads and such. He said the site gets finicky with stuff like that. After 3 failures to register the credit card, the SE system blacklists the card for 24 hours or some such(it might be a bit longer). You have to go in and remove all associated credit cards to your account, and then after the set blacklisted period has passed, I went in using Internet Explorer and set up the credit card just fine.

You do need to make sure that the address you have listed to your account and the address on your credit card match, too, pretty sure

They gave memory excuses already for not letting us split the buff/debuff bar. I'm sure orientations for UI elements is a thing for 2018.

Idk why they don't just let you make free form hotbars in any shape you want.

The RAM excuse would be complete bull, as it's not something they'd even have to implement on PS3.

The other excuse they gave is limitations on filesize for the save data on PS3/PS4, which I don't get as I've seen PS3 game saves go upwards of 50mb.

That said, I could really go for some nice QoL adjustments in 2.38 since 2.35 had fuck all for them. All minor updates besides 2.35 had some well appreciated adjustments.

Related: they need to make it so you don't have to change back to the job you registered for duty on in order to confirm.

The game already checks your role and gear (for ilvl) when you register, just have it save the gear you were wearing upon registering as a temporary gearset.

When the confirmation window pops up and you hit confirm it checks for the gear you were wearing when you registered, if it's all there then you just hit confirm and the game automatically swaps to the appropriate gear/job as it takes you into the instance.

It can be annoying as fuck when you're trying to do something on another job while waiting for the DF and people keep withdrawing from duty, forcing you to stop, change jobs, and wait 45s every time (making it impossible to actually get anything done). It would also solve the issue of being in combat (and thus unable to change jobs) when the window pops.
