It should reset your CD's too, nothing more annoying than hitting confirm getting zoned into tamtara hm with 100 hp no cds' and the Tank rushes off to pull the whole zone.

That too, yea.
CDs should always reset:
-When entering an instance
-When returning to the start after dying
-When the party wipes in Trial-esque instances and is automatically returned as a group
Can you imagine how much less time you'd be p(l)aying if CD reset at all of those times? We're talking like MINUTES. What kind of a time sink would that be? You might miss another sub cycle with all the stuff you get done in the time you save. SE can't have that.
I generally wait about 20 seconds before hitting the confirm button, especially for stuff that I had to wait before it popped.
queueing with a group for FL at 3am......
waited 45 mins, queue popped, 48 man FL
fuckkkkkkkkkk
capping sol ugh
and I have to do that on alt too haha
I have 2 alts I don't care about that I only do a daily Trial roulette on, and they only end up like 120-170ish/450 on weekly. Don't care about enough to do a few experts more though. I'm lazy enough doing that for alexandrite map.
I just follow the hunt train for a couple hours and call it a day <_<
hunt used to be super for mules but since B is nerfed, its kinda draggy......
still good tho but just not as good...
Someone please tell me there's a better bait for Ixali fishing quests.

The fish are probably the same-ish level as the quest, so a lv16ish lure would probably be ideal.
Complete guess. Not a fisher.
If you're using Moth Pupae, no.
SE was just dumb as shit when they set the bite rates for that fish.
The quest log recommends Moth Pupae, I don't know if the fish for the quest has a proper level, it can bite on any freshwater bait.
The reason you'd want to use the lvl 1 bait as they recommend is so you remove as many other fish from the pool (pun?) as possible because all but 1 kind of fish in the area are too high level to bite on it.
The issue is pretty specific to the Mor Dhona fishing quest, I never have trouble with the one in Coerthas but I've caught up to 25+ bone crayfish trying to get the 2 quest fish needed for the Mor Dhona one.
Speaking of Ixali quests, what is the deal with crafting those Isolators? Why give a 1200+ quality rating and then give us like -150 CP >( How can any crafter at low levels accomplish this???
Unfortunately, the fish that do still bite on lv1 bait are.... the bone crayfish the screenshot shows getting dredged up a ton. I don't think the quest fish is lv1, which means using a lv1 bait is probably lowering the chance of netting the actual quest fish.
I think I use a Floating Minnow.
I was curious how it was for lower-level crafters. I have all my DoH with Artisan tools and melded out the wazoo, and I still have to be conscious of what I'm doing.
They just don't get 100% HQ. NPC gives you infinite number of tries so anyone should be able to make them once they learn Great Strides. (Just need some luck)
A level 15 fish couldn't even be caught with a level 1 bait.
Since it can, it has to be level 1-6.
edit: also the other DoL items for these quests are lvl 3 (normal item) and level 5 (rare item) regardless of the quest tier/level
It's pretty clear SE wanted these quests to be doable by people with lvl 1 DoH, a lvl 1 FSH can't even equip the bait needed to catch a lvl 15 fish.
Brute forcing the low CP basically came down to IQ > SH2 > Basic Basic Basic GS-Advanced for me. I suppose a lowbie would use more GS sooner.
Here's to hoping 2.38 adjusts it to be 50% rather than the 25%'ish it feels like it's at currently.
A lowbie could just bruteforce a lower HQ % until they get an HQ anyhow, since I don't believe there's any penalty at all in getting new mats from the NPC, other than you wasting time/durability. But yeah, the difficulty spike compared to that recipe compared to the rest which are 5-step synths (SH1->GS-Advance, CS2x2) is a bit stupid.
