Never have problems with my connection, but today is just been horrible since I got home from work. Log in and start hitting crafting macro for low lvl stuff and broke when I was alt tabbed. Tried again same thing with skills being skipped/delay in the game

Yeah, afaik that's the normal (read: mrhappy says to do it) strat. We have our MT hit... east (mines) tower though.

Complaint: trying to build a way onto the roof of my small house in Mist and it seems like nothing is tall enough to do it except CT arch. Which is a 400k investment for a novelty stepladder. Sylph lamp tree is tall enough but you can't stand on top of it

Tallest things I've found otherwise are Kobold Furnace (slightly taller than Amaljaa carriage) and Island Palm.

Yeah that's south. We do the same thing. Decent damage spike at that point as well, I usually pop a CD since I won't be needing any more CDs at that point.

Hm, neither of my coil groups have the tank activate a tower so it just seemed odd to me.

Jump + Elusive jump is usually enough to cover larger vertical gaps (we used to use it to get to the top of our medium), unless you were already taking that into account.

I don't actually even know any other way. To put someone on the side of the cleave just to pop a tower sounds frightening; do you rotate Avatar, or do you just time it well? It's not like the tank is doing anything difficult/interesting anyway.

Tbh I'm not entirely sure, I just know what towers I'm supposed to hit and when.

We don't rotate him or anything like that.

Well I don't know what Mr. Happy does nor do I care. We simply tried a bunch of combinations and that one worked.

You can definitely stand on top of the sylph lamp tree. You just need to either jump from the top of chocobo stables, arch way at the entrance (if you have one), or an awning if you have one built. Which, depending on the house, you can go directly from the awning to the roof with the right timing.

Not the best shot (and not on right char to move stuff around) but:

I had a wood awning, palm tree, and the kobold furnace set up to try and get on top of the sylph tree, all of which were at where the wall chimney is. Could never get on top of it. Neighbor's roof has a chocobo stable and it's still just short of reaching the roof.

e: lol, 5min after posting this I just sprint-run-jumped on top of kobold furnace until it clipped me onto the roof.

e2: and lo and behold I jumped from the roof and can stand on the sylph tree. What the fuck.

I'm wondering what happens when more than 7 items go into the pool.

I'd say 50% chance the oldest auto-sorts (a la XI) 50% chance items are lost (a la SE programming in general).

That would imply a delibberate setting of the maximum loot being 7 items.

I would guess one of four things would be likely to happen, in descending likelihood:

1. 8th icon appears regardless of the layout of the window (slightly in but mostly out). (65%)
2. 8th icon appears barely but is obscured by the edge of the window and will slide into view when one of the other items goes way. (15%)
3. 8th item will replace the 7th in the pool and the 7th will be overwritten in the array. This is the second half of your guess - the autosorting would have to be intentionally implemented. I doubt that very much. (10%)
4. The loot list wraps to a second row. (10%)

Seems pretty easy to test, all you have to do is kill Xande while Amon's stuff is still in the pool, and get a 4th chest. I've been seeing some ST bosses melt when people actually try, so I'm sure its possible.

I don't think you can kill Xande fast enough so the solution would be to roll a premade party and open Amon's chest after beating Xande.

if i recall in the alpha or beta, once you haave alot of loots, a button to click to go left and right will appear

You wouldn't need a 4th chest either since Amon drops 3 items (more than the 4th chest's 1-2).
