As long as you never actually say the words "parser" or "program" in game chat, nothing can be proven. If they ask you how you know their damage is low, tell them you watched their rotation or whatever.

I know I've been reported before cause I've cussed out a couple of DPS in DF for being unable to outdamage me (WAR), but since I've never admitted anything the GMs can't do anything about it.

Ffxiv NA pugs have been shitty since 1.0

I never won Garuda hm in 1.0 with na pugs but almost never lost with jp

Queue for DF and get Stone Vigil Hard. The tank Leeroys his way to the room with the watch wyvern, and we wipe. "Oops, guess we can't handle that much". 2nd pull, tank Leeroys his way to the watch wyvern again. We wipe.

I leave, and during my downtime manage to get 2 S ranks done, so random win there.

Once my 30 minutes is up, I queue for DF again. It's Stone Vigil Hard again. The tank pulls the first pack of 3, the healer pulls and 2nd pack of 3. We wipe.

i refuse to believe the vast majority of JP is better players than NA tho

yes NA is bad in terms of attitude, but that shouldnt result in the huge gap between skills

im leaning towards strategy offered. i think a normal JP player only got 1 or 2 max deviation of how a <insert event> is done and can learn it always in any group

NA strat tend to be too fanciful between elitist and pugs and people will refuse to learn 1 way or the other if they too comfortable with their "usual strat"

and then leads to people abandoning duties because it didnt match their "style"

im pretty sure a NA pug dude has attempted at least 10 methods of doing something

JP way is usually "play safe, get it done in T+2 min is fine, than wiping for being fanciful", which is why you prolly will never(or very seldom) see JP groups attempt "fucking awesome 60 sec titan" type of runs in pugs/statics. when a JP static clear a event, you can pretty damn sure that strat is going to be used from il70 to il200. its boring yea, but thats how everyone in the community will do it

Once again in 1.0 japaneese listened to others and when they saw I tried to use google translate to communicate with them they seemed happy.

I dont think JP strat is better, i have seen part of contents tackled better, faster, more efficient in NA vids.

JP strats usually are alot more playsafe than speedrun, however like arthars says NAs community tends to argue whose strat is better than the other, calling people dumb for doing things slower.

Clearly recall few people here saying bringing offtank is stupid in T8 and tanking darnus in middle of arena is stupid as well in T9. These attitudes of my strat is better than yours is why NA pugs generally sucks and slower by far in terms of progression because some just doesnt know how to shut up when they comes across a strat that they deeemed worse.

JP players arent better than NAs, there are tons of shitasfuck JPs that plays with their head up their ass, their PUGs are just better bc they strats are uniformed in all server.

Well, I would assume most Japanese players wouldn't have problems dodging shit on Titan EX when their server is a 10 minute drive from them, while the majority of us are stuck with shit-ass routing to Montreal from halfway across the country.

Call them out on what they do instead of how much.

Bad MNK is not going to hit positionals.
Bad BLM is not going to use Flare or AoE in general.
Bad SMN is not going to DoT more than one enemy at a time.
Likewise for a bad BRD.
Bad DRG is.

Back when we were still learning T8, we actually had enough DPS to skip w5 though not very consistently. So first thing we did was got me, the shcolar, to stop DPSing, and later our monk opted to stop taking food. That ensured that we mostly never skiped w5. Week later and a few upgrades, everyone has to stop taking food, and someone or other stops DPSing sometime just so we don't skip w5. Hunt comes and everyone now has an i110 weapon, the more dedicated ones have full i110 left side. No amount of standing around doing nothing could stop us from skipping w5.

Just making sure, but you don't need to do anything but touch a mob in the fate to qualify for an atma. So tag every fate in the zone then start finishing any to kill time. If zone is slow go to another tag all the fates and wait or slowly kill them...etc. Most efficient way to get them.
