It's all the goddamn NINs that cause most the headache in roulette and ST. The job's not bad, it's just that there are so many people playing and learning a new job at once. A sprinkling of new/inexperienced players is rarely a problem in routine content, but right now, I swear there's a near-death NIN everywhere I look.

I'll get better though once people are more accustomed to it.

There's more to it than that, though. On Ultros I see lots of multi-million things on the market board that literally never sell. Just because it's rare doesn't necessarily mean the market can bear that price. It's possible that person has been watching the market and has re-assessed the true value of the item.

Undercutting is not always stupidity/greed/laziness/whatever. It's pretty common in a free market.

No, undercutting that much for an item that can and will sell at the 3m the others are listed for is pretty much always stupid. "Free market" is a bad excuse for a bad decision.

I'm pretty weary from all the DF Rogue's I'm coming across. I know that's already been said but god dammit... I am convinced most of these guys have never played a melee DPS class and are unable to dodge simple shit... Wiped 10x on Scylla because the 10 NINs in our alliance kept dying every time there was ground effects. I stuck around because... do you know how awful DPS queues are? Part of me was hoping they would figure out how to dodge I guess...

Well aside from the fact that it does, yeah. We've had new pets going for anywhere from 5-10m, depending what it is. Sorry your server economy is shit and/or you're bad at making gil I guess? /shrug

Do the 1 person early ring out cheese. Went in as healer and wiped once on my first try because we had a scrub DPS. Did the cheese on the next attempt and got pass that phase easily.

They really need to make a separate PF category for people looking for groups, it's getting old opening the Raid PF and seeing 6 parties, only 1 or 2 of which are actually parties recruiting people to do stuff.
