2nd time this has happened to me....game randomly resets all my preferences, i.e., tool bars, key binds, chat boxes, macros, etc. I don't understand.

What annoys me most about focus targeting is that you'd think it makes a mob or player a priority for the server to keep loaded in the case of really crowded FATEs. Nope. If it disappears you lose it from enemy list, focus target, everything.

how the fuck do you unlock Guildhest? I have them on my chacter but gf is level 22 and hasnt even unlocked the level 10 one and idk where to go to get the first one

Wherever you did your first "Leves of (wherever)" quest as directed by (NPC that runs your starting nation's inn). For Limsa I believe that's Swiftperch. I would guess Hawthorne Hut for Grid. Dunno which is the Uldah one. Horizon?

I can't log in to my Pug because it was kicked out in a dungeon. Created a new character, immediately got in.

yeah, but where did you create a character? it's not obvious when you do it but if you choose a full server, it just changes it to another server without really saying anything (though it does update the name in the background). my wife and i did this last week when our 1017 shit started.

Oh then Bentbranch/Black Brush/Summerford? probably. I thought I remembered getting the quest for guildhests (talk to a nearby dude) automatically accepted after some Leves of whatever.
