Ul'dah is Horizon
Ul'dah is Horizon
i appreciate yoshi p doing all his great things and all but this is such a failed launch. one week later we still can't create characters freely on different servers, and login issues. this is 2013 - not 2004 and this game had launched before for christ sake, what the fuck. /complaint.
Not converting quest rewards from xp to gil at max level is rough, seeing so much wasted xp go by as I finish up the main story.
Server's full, 24/7 all day everyday.
and i don't think they did anything to address afker who hogs the server. also, what they do with their networking team is mind boggling.
lol@blaming afk people and not simply Yoshida and SE.
Well, there's no doubting that there should be an auto logoff, especially with the server troubles they're having right now...
At my cousin's house trying to log in for the past six hours. I went to take a piss and came back to my cousin logging me in and, surprise surprise, got in. Wat.
1017 while the live action commercial plays is fucked up
Meh I logged in twice today through the 1017. Just have to make a macro to spam the login, go make a sandwich and watch TV. Come back in about 15min and you're in.
That said it's pretty stupid we have to resort to that. Hopefully this will be cleared up in a week.
1017 all day. This is the first time it has affected for more than 20 min. Sadly, it's also the day I but the bullet and did the digital upgrade to CE. Now I have to wait to collect my bonuses.
It blows my mind that in 2013, they haven't implemented a temporary fix (aka just adding a queue option). No MMO/online game ever launches flawlessly but this is the worst I've been apart of. Never mind random disconnects, bugs, optimization but this, this takes the cake.
At the PAX launch event, they said that this Wednesday/Tuesday maintenance would add the necessary servers to 'fix' the logon issue. We shall see.
lol elitist as fuck people at lvl 50 apparently from what I hear from my friend. I'm laughing so hard. People not letting others watch cutscenes and people who drop hard mode groups after a single wipe or someone saying "1st time here, can you explain". I hope these people go back to WoW soon.
game crashed again, lost all my setting again....worst part isn't 1017, it's having to sit through that fucking opening movie every god dam time.
My experience has actually been quite...pleasant thus far.
Just did AV 2.0 for the first time, only person that had done it before was the tank, explained each boss fight as we went, had a few rough patches and wiped to the final boss once, got it on the 2nd go, good time had by all.
Complaint: dungeons need to give more exp in general, they're infinitely more involved and labor intensive than fates and less rewarding exp-wise.
edit: and this was with me SCH healing, and that can be kind of a bitch there
On top of that (at least from what I've seen) these people either don't say ANYTHING and just assume you're a goddamn mind reader or they're complete dicks who bitch you at the drop of a hat.
But I've only had that once at Castrum Meridianum. Haven't moved on and haven't had this issue with anything previous except one bitcher at Cape Westwind.
I guess that if someone is a DPS who drops upon hearing someone hasn't done it before...at least they're putting their money where their mouth is. Healer or tank, lol.
