So last night I did Haukke Manor final boss first try, and all 4 of us were first timers right?

Today I get a group and we failed 5 times before everybody ragequit. I got blamed for everything.

CNJ standing in terror range, no reason for him to be that close to the melee. First try nobody even deactivated the lamps despite me telling the BRD to. NOBODY EVEN BOTHERING TO ATTACK THE BOMBS BUT ME. NOBODY EVEN BOTHERING TO RUN OUT OF TERROR CIRCLE. Like I save my stun for that, but sometimes Brutal Swing misses and there's absolutely zero reason to not start running out of the red circle until you see it disappear. 4/5 fights the final adds popped with a bomb or two still up and most of the lamps up. I get yelled at for not using tank limit break despite the fact that it would not have made a difference because the CNJ got hit by terror several times and sitting there yelling at me to get adds off him when THEY ALWAYS ATTACK THE CNJ FIRST NO MATTER WHAT and it's going to take me a few seconds to get them off of him. Cause 10% damage reduction is gonna save you from taking 500 damage and getting terror'd because you're incapable of staying at range

Like holy shit by the end of that my face was actually getting hot with rage.

I should have seen it coming too because CNJ was doing stupid stuff like popping cure 2 right after I take my first hit from a pull. BRD and MNK were each attacking their own mobs, which yeah whatever it's trash mobs and I can generally keep hate with Overpower spam anyways but it's annoying to me. At one point the MNK was yelling at me to help Silence the boss while it was channeling Dark Mist or whatever the terror move is. Not stun, silence. I'm pretty sure that is a tp move and not affected by silence, NOT THAT I HAVE THE ABILITY TO SILENCE ANYWAYS.

Worst part is I can't even blacklist them because they're not on my server.

Totally killed my boner to play this game tonight.

Also Sephiroth you really don't know what that term means do you? Telling somebody to suck less is the opposite of white knighting.

EDIT: Arus was that PUG's name by chance Sumawara Suma? He was doing the exact same thing and after we called him out on not helping with adds he was like arguing with us that he was helping with adds, and then I watched him not even touch them the entire next fight. I also forgot to mention the CNJ argued with me about getting hit by self-destruct while I was sitting there looking at it in my logs.

I hate people.

It's not white knighting to say that you're a bad, it would be white knighting to make the claim that the game is fine how it is because that's how the developers made it.

I'm simply saying the game is easy, and because it's easy the fact that you are saying it is difficult makes you shit.

He's not telling me to suck less because sucking isn't the problem. You don't waltz into a random complaint thread shooting down complaints and telling them it's not a problem when it clearly is a legitimate complaint. That is white knighting. It's the equivalent of telling people who can't connect to just deal with it and keep spamming logins because it will work eventually and thus isn't a problem.

But if you're suggesting remembering every little detail about every boss attack in the game within a week of launch is a requirement for not sucking these days then so be it.

The solution is for SE to fix the bug, not for us to deal with it and work around it. Why is that such a difficult concept?
I don't need suggestions on how to deal with SE's shitty coding, I can come up with them myself.

Anyone getting massive DC + 90k this morning? Doing ifrit he freeze on places then continu and sometimes I 90k, I sit in Reverant's toll and randomly bam 90k, can relog NP just problem staying logged in

Servers have been utterly hosed all weekend (yay holiday). I was getting 1017 login errors at 1:30am this morning, and now I can't find the lobby server (8:30am EST). Maybe this is ffxiv telling me to go do something productive on my vacation day.

I don't see how being rooted while performing the ultimate attack or getting up from being dead is a bug. Time your shit better.

It's not animation lock, it's a root because you are casting a spell/ability that does mega damage.

As for raise, it's probably the way it is for the same reason only 2 classes can raise in combat - suck less.

One of the biggest complaints in 1.0 was animation lock. I don't think being rooted for 5 seconds on a raise was intentional. I can try time my shit better, we all can, just as we did in 1.0. But why go back to that? Sure it's minor compared to other complaints here but it's not a bad one.

Too many damn seals. What do people spend their seals on? I already got level 50 weapons for the jobs I want and still getting close to cap. And some gear for alts.
