Yeah, never had much issues logging, but keep raging at these dumb decisions of square <.< I'm still baffled on why I'm being punished for being nice with people.

While people kept leaving I decided to try and help the tank by giving pointers, stayed the whole 60 fucking wipe minutes to try and help, we got to last boss but wiped, time ended, AND I GET PUNISHED.Really... I'm going to do as most people do and leave.

Bit calmer now but needed to outrage there, it's so dumb I can't get it.

I'm not even bothered by the fetch quests since for the most part Final Fantasy has followed the formula of fetch quests and time sinks between major events. Some of the quests are entertaining and I play of game of catching the references in quest titles.

My biggest gripes are FATEs. They're over before you can blink, AOE spam rules the day and they're grab bags of mindless EXP gain. They don't even bother to scale with participants so everything melts instantly and level sync'd characters make it difficult for proper level / under-leveled characters to participate properly.

I did Stone Vigil for my MSQ lastnight, had an absolutely terrible WHM that didn't know what Regen, Stoneskin, Medica or even Protect was. I'm baffled as to how retarded some people can be when grinding up and learning what spell or ability does what and how it enhances other spells or abilities

I ended up putting them down at Jormungand when we had 8 minutes left and they finally left, got a WHM in that knew how to stay out of the big red circles and Jormys charge attack, beat it with 10s left in the dungeon, I haven't been so livid at someone in a online game in years.

Not as bad as tanks that don't know how to tank. They just afk auto-attack or claim they're DPS and don't want to tank.

Either I can't get past the start screen, because Start is greyed out, or I manage to get that and then see it can't populate NA/EU server list. Have been trying since noon, I guess it will be a Netflix day after all.

I think the START option being greyed out means there's problems simply connecting to the lobby. If you managed to connect to the lobby and the NA/EU or JP lists don't populate, it's an issue between the lobby and those data centers which usually means you have to completely close out of the game before trying again.

Don't you wish in the log-in client that there was a way to allow 30 day authentications like Battle.net does. So tired of having to input a code every 30 seconds.

One thing i'll note about the list problem is if you have a chara on a jp server log into that then back out if you get in, that'll 'refresh' the list instead of having to completely close the client...naturally it will still take time, just a little less =/

I kept getting bronze/silver for the eyes have it... ended up making a party and got gold easy every time D:.

I did a dungeon on my low level pug the other day and my tank... I don't even know. Start the dungeon and he has no shield (this is level 20), he'd run up and auto attack mobs... nothing else. Me and the healer ended up tanking most of the stuff. I tried asking him if he knew how to tank or even had a shield... no reply. Used the limit break when we weren't fighting stuff.... overall... I just don't know.

Stone vigil in front of the last boss, 30 minutes remaining, tank d/c, party leaves I'm alone. FML. another 40 minutes queue gone + the instance time...sigh.

everyone joins and leaves of course.Stuck on this bloody main quest shit.

Restart 1017 bot goes away 10min comes back game closed due to 2002

Any one know the best method of obtaining shards for crafting? currently I go out and farm mining nodes until I have enough but now it's painfully boring

surely there's a better way to farm shards?
