The whole concept of a shared FC locker is pretty fucking cool. We just decided to dump low level HQ gear in there that we out leveled or found in dungeons.

Interview with Yoshi:
http://gamerescape.com/2013/09/01/in...13/#more-27332
2.1:
- Good King Moogle
- new difficulty level for Ifrit/Garuda/Titan
- Hildibrand comes back! (and has his own FATEs with special music - check it out in the interview)
2.2:
- one new primal from Shiva/Ramuh/Leviathan (Shiva will have a new beast tribe, so I was wrong thinking it will be Gigas)
2.2 or 2.3 will have FC able to summon primals. Yoshi says 'when primals will finally start to enter the fields, so I guess we're back to the 'wandering primals' thing?
2.2 or 2.3 for Gilgamesh
Lightning stuff should probably come when LTR get released
Gold Saucer will be sometime after 2.3
The content is there. Availability is being worked out over time (first month purchases are unforgiven...) and other stuff.
Great!
I really enjoy crafting in this game. To the point that I have exhausted my supply of Lightning shards. D:
Sadly, killing Lightning Sprites isn't exactly an efficient way of collecting more shards, so I think I'll be stuck mining/logging for them for a while.
You end up with a lot while leveling, I've got prolly at least 400 of every shard, and 1000+ of lightning/ice shards since those eles show up in FATEs a decent amount.
Currently playing the catch up game for friends since the whole connection issue thing, and finally started messing around with some of the gathering classes. Surprised that it's actually somewhat entertaining, and makes for a decent time sink between DPS queues.
Crafting Leves. I'm very happy with them, especially since I gathered the majority of my own cotton and moko grass. Turned in one of the level 15 Leves on Sunday with an HQ piece and got over 19k experience. Got a level and a half from that.

I also was amazed by this.
I love that it isn't such a grind. Fun game play with tons of quest and monsters to fight. Can't wait to get further into it.
It is like I'm a crack addict and I kicked the stuff for years. Then I'm like oh it will be ok if I try it just a little. Only this time the crack is better and without all the annoying side effects.
I don't know what the FATE "Things that make you go home" is referencing, But I'd like to think its the Star Trek:TNG episode "Samaritan Snare", in which the antagonists of the episode repeatedly say "We look for things, things to make us go".
I like when i get references!
Yeah I also got hit by the domino effect of crafting. Picked Armorsmith as main, and since I'm so hell bent on being self sufficient, I took mining. Which was fine, until I needed logs. Then I needed Wax, leather and other shit.
My fucking goldsmith overtook my Armorsmith using up all those fucking malachites and shit I found. Now I'm playing catchup at 27 Armorsmith and guess what
Spoiler: show
Anyone played WoW? WoW's US #1 guild, Blood Legion, maybe going into FF14 as well. Riggnaros, Blood Legion's GM, was saying he really like the game, I saw him stream FF14 on twitch and he was really excited playing it (he was playing the final story mission vs ultima weapon). If they really gonna go into FF14, this is going to bring a lot of people to FF14 since Blood Legion has such a large fanbase and not to mention a really good competition for world firsts.
one of their recent WoW conquest:
That would be pretty great. (Though on the flip side, I really don't want to deal with the people from WoW unless they adapt a different mindset) As much as I despise the whole server/launch debacle. As soon as I login all my animosity and spite just washes away instantly when I get back to questing/crafting so i'd like to see the game take off, though it already is.
The class quest dialogs are top tier. I know I already put some ss of the gsm quests, but everyone needs to take gsm to at least 15, probably higher. Got the level 10 fsh last night and sisipu had a great spiel for me. Also been just catching up all of the classes in terms of their quests and I really wanna know how the arc one is gonna turn out but I wasn't really planning on leveling it! The pgl line is really good too.
A certain storyline battle in the Umbral Isles being reminiscent of Edward's FF4 solo fight gave me all kinds of FF feels.
Praetorium. Holy fuck.
