Thing is there's no proof you didn't lot, so you can equally say you did lot and the blame/suspicion might shift to others despite them being together. It'll backfire if they're all in the same room though but what are the chances of that?

Even though my Nexus is done I've been doing Trial Roulette just for the weapons (and trying to learn MNK lol) 1083(?) GC points per weapon adds up fast.

I probably got my bow 6 weeks ago. Last week we adopted a brd to try and train him as a replacement for a swap down the road at 2.4, bow drops for him. (Literally his only piece of H.Allagan he's wearing, the mad from other people is hilarious.) This week the swap target kinda 'forced' the swap early, bow drops for him. (The other brd in swap targets group had a mad level of muhamMAD.)

Feels pretty enjoyable giving people their weapons on their first t9 clear. Although I'd like a second axe and a second crook since we recently had to swap our OT and whm.

We picked up a new caster 3 weeks ago. SMN book drops first week (our WHM Ninja lots it thinking our new caster would Need roll but he was on BLM for t9), 2nd week SMN book again, he gets its, 3rd week BLM staff, which again is for him.....we were also he first coil static so he picked up probably 8+ other drops during his 3 weeks.

2.4 onwards focusing on ninja, and 3.0 onwards ninja + drk!!!!!!!!

ninja in xi was too OP for a long time, being able to tank DD haha. now that DEX is going to be XIV's main stat, idk how its going to make ninja melee balance.... unless ninja rely heavily on ninjitsu, which SE make them into "ranged attacks" than magic-based...

as for drk, bring the top 2 DD in ffxi to become a tank is prolly the most exciting thing we gotta see XD

I wouldn't be too surprised if they go the Cecil route for dark knight and using 1h swords rather 2h or scythe. I also don't know if I want to believe everything they've had to say about rouge/ninja being dex class. Only because back in one of the live letters when Ninja was first even brought up, they mentioned if you wanted to gear ahead of time start hoarding strength accessories.

That and dex's tool tip.



idk we'll find out for sure on the 28th, the class is definitely interesting because it has aspects of magic, melee and range.

yea exactly... i remember initially they leaked that nin was STR based......

and then they say its dex now, AND THEN they say nin will share gears with mnk for gears up to 2.3

SE, tho, can easily? change dex into "affects dual yield damage"

and knowing most peeps prolly wont be wearing 2.3 < gears in 2.4 after they got their nin to 50 and rdy to end game, SE prolly think that letting us share str mnk gears isnt a big deal

2 possibilities exist imo:

1) DEX is changed to be the main stat of MNK and NIN; fucks over MNKs because now they have wrong accs and fucks over BRDs for giving them a ton of extra competition on lots.

2) Pre-2.4 NIN+MNK gear just gets STR and DEX on it.
2a) Rogue/NIN innately turns STR into DEX arbitrarily and uses DEX for attack power.

They never said the class was STR based. The only hint they gave was something along the lines of "you might want to start sitting on melee gear", which is still true now. Accessories were never specifically mentioned.

On the other hand, weapons are all going to be new because it's going to be a special type -- the dual wield.
