I'm glad they're doing the vast majority of the maintenance IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, that's cool, so it doesn't bother most people.

I really like it too but mine always plays for like 2 minutes then turns off and I don't hear anything for like 5-10! Wish I could make it loop over and over.

Thirded. Gives me chills even for stuff that can be heard pretty often like (dungeon boss) and variations of (normal battle, Mor Dhona version). (And then of course there's...)

Not just WoW guilds. In GW2, FOO was the #1 WvWvW guild, Asia-based, CN/KO/JP, nice folks, like 150+ members. They used to tear shit up on the #1 WvWvW server, Jade Quarry, week after week. I was on that server and it was a ton of fun to participate in their keep assaults. They were good.

I saw several FOO tags on Ridill JP FFXIV server this week, some on names I know from GW2. I suspect some of their members are already here.

Fourthed. I haven't done a lot of exploring, but I loved the music at one of the ports in the Limsa region. Can't remember the name of it off the top of my head but it offers level 20 Levequests. Aleport maybe?

(Might be this? 6:14) Vid is a whole medley of Limsa field songs strung together but I think that might be the one.

I'll check when I get home (Gotta love over time until 9 PM and possibly after...) but it kinda reminded me of Selbina, except the Violin being a lot softer and more background instruments.

It's Aleport and now you mention it, I do get a Selbina vibe from the whole thing.

I think it would have taken me a bit to make the Selbina connection on my own, but I totally see it now. I haven't actually heard that music ingame yet (le nub /sigh), but it is right amazing. I usually enjoy their stringed songs more than winds.

I think a huge chunk of the music is remixes of various FF songs. It would be interesting to see a list of what songs are based on what.
