FFXIV Random Praise Thread: Time to melee RDM

Well, for the first time ever I played PVP, well Wolves Den, i've done frontlines... my team was PLD, WHM, NIN(me), BLM... their team PLD, WHM, BRD, NIN. Saving the details of the battle, I survived with 74 HP and got 3 kills, and at the end of the battle it was just me and the PLD left standing.

It was really fun, was only a level 30 Wolves' Den though, since I'm just level 47. the NIN armor models is what sparked my interest in PVP... I want that bat stuff >_>

I have no idea where else to put this so: I am in a shitty hotel with shitty internet on a decent laptop, but I hate laptops and suck at using them. Is there a tor.rent for up to date patch information? Or even relatively close to recent? SE patcher going slower than a snail.

I HQed 5 Arachne velveteens at a go at 24%, 18%, 54%, 8x% and 100%.

That made me so nervous when working on my arachne gear. It would only be fair if I NQed at 98%.

If it's anything under 50% I usually just hit Reclaim... typically reach 70-100% on material. Prefer to gamble on material synth so I don't have to on final piece.

43 steps? Spammed hasty to afford multiple manip/WN2/+durab or something?

WN2 is garbage when you don't have a completely set rotation. Useful on a few things, but not necessary so it never ends up on my bar.

Already had 5 HQ in stock and needed another 5 more for my healer shirt/pants. It wasn't necessary to HQ them so I just let RNG do its thing. HT actually blew up 6 times in a row for that 18% one.

Most of these new gather/craft gear are still easily maxed from nq. Just bought a couple of pieces off mb for less than the mats cost even considering the extra materia. :D

Finally got past T10 after going at it for 5 hours straight.
Healer head drops.
Was planning to craft and meld the i110 headpiece but I guess i130 is better than i110.

Will have to adjust my plans.

Finally cleared t9 on Sat. Better late than never. At least got it before the echo this time (though we started t5 really late, no excuse for t9 lol). 4 of our static have cleared over the past week, so maybe that'll help the rest of the group on phase 4. Several of us had to clear individually for t5 too before we cleared as a static. Can't wait til we get to start final coil.

i don't know how, but somehow my poetics got capped out when i should've been 50 from cap still. i'm going to chalk it up to something related to that weird balmung/excal maintenance last night. i will happily welcome any opportunity to skip expert roulette, so fuck yeah to mystery tomes

lucrezia stream shenanigans, they converted a bunch of i110 crafted pentamelded gears, some of them were 9 9 9 9 6 melds to materia. Then putting the materias up on MB for 1g, lol.
