Impulse drive has always technically been better than most jobs' 1-2 combo until they unlock their 3. At least before it was positional gated so you could only use it in a party when you weren't tanking and the tank wasn't moving shit.

Not really game-breaking, but still broken.

I'm right there with you. I've wanted this dungeon since seeing the Agrias crash site in 1.0. Let's just hope Midgardsormr is the patch's primal and not reduced to a dungeon boss.

I'm hoping they live up to the promise that the lead up to 3.0 will be as hype as the lead up to 2.0 and Midgardsormr revives and just flies around zones fucking shit up with dragons like the Atomos/Imperial invasions of yore. It's definitely gonna be a story dungeon, but I feel like Midgardsormr might be too big for a primal fight per se (like Bahamut was). Pretty sure they said Odin was coming in 2.5 (the Fanfest fights) so I always expected that to be 2.5's Primal.

I am thankful for DRG buffs. As a lifetime DRG (not so much of the loldrg variety) it was always awful having someone tell me I suck at dodging when I get hit for a shit ton by unavoidable things. Don't worry, DRG has a lot of HP. Oh..but we take a shit ton damage more from magic. okthen.jpg.

New relic questline needs a lot of soldiery I hear? Some top FCs on the server were offering carries for noobs with 100 soldiery bonus, I hopped into a group of 7:

Got Titan Ex done, was my second time in there only. Didn't fall off or die, was actually quite easy if everyone knows what they're doing. Got hit by the cross formation bomb though as I didn't get that far before.
Got T7 done and learnt the mechanics easily (I got asked to stay out). The initial trash elevator ride is annoying though, took a bit long
Got Levi Ex done but I fell off
Got moogle ex done but that was quite easy anyways, the music is annoying though and so is the fight

Plan to get Ifrit and Ramuh done tonight. And T8 if the group wants to do that so I can go in DF/farm groups and not seem dumb!

6400. You need 4 1600-soldiery-cost bottles of water bought in RT. Anyone considering relic weapon but not on that stage could purchase ahead of time. Also true of the 80k GC seals you'll need for four Bombard Cores, and the crafted items. You can do a lot of legwork ahead of time for this stage.

You cannot buy it without being on that step, so you have to grind out the soldiery. Wouldn't be surprised if Bomb Cores were the same but 80k GC seals is a joke to get so whatever.
