I think everyone is stoked when they clear 2.1 EX's for the first time without getting super-carried. Moogle gets kind of the same recation.

Yah, I couldn't be excited about Ramuh... I wiped so many GD times that it was just pure frustration at that point. It felt like a coil boss in terms of shit going on and mechanics you need to remember. I'd rank it harder than T7 for sure ._.

The other, other warrior (me) was in CT, DL, Myth and Allag gear. We didn't have a lot of HP between us. Together with first time tanking, first thing anything and people generally unfamiliar with the content, it was amazing we managed to even clear.

I figured out today (I guess i forgot) that Titans HP is based off your own VIT... and its determined when you summon him. So if i put on my VIT accessories before Summoning him, he has about 12400 HP lol... I know this lowers his attack some(?), but its funny to think how high I could get is HP with some decent VIT accessories... probably 13-14k or more (My SMN is only I.lv 107)

It'll re-calc his HP if you use Spur though, so you'll be gimping his damage further if you want to keep the high HP. If that matters.

Late night main scenario roulette, get a new guy in Praetorium who obviously queued with a friend. Without asking the entire party waits for the guy to finish the story cutscenes so he could view the dungeon as God intended with absolutely no bitching.

I wouldnt be surprised if someone tech savvy looked at this post and realized that i3 3220 is LGA1155 and i7 is LGA1150.

I certainly didnt know until it wouldnt fit!

Okay so I did get the new Motherboard in on Monday. One that is actually LGA1150 compatible. That means I went from an Asrock H77M to an Asus Z87-Pro. For those not keeping a tally, that is:
GeForce 460->Radeon 290X
Intel I3-3220->Intel I7-4790
Asrock H77m->Asus Z87-Pro

Of course, plugging the things in failed to load Windows. I really had no idea what to do about this so I ended up downloading a USB bootable Windows 7 and tossing it on a new harddrive . Surprisingly, I can access everything on the other HDD and run programs from it. I am hoping that I can remove driver files from that HDD to make it my main once again.

Game seems pretty smooth. 90+ FPS in Lavender Beds, 40-60 in Mor Dhona depending on congestion. The only issue is, the GPU seems to be running warm(?)(70C+) and loud when the game really gets going. I've already been told that I don't really know what a hot and loud GPU is lol and I hope that person is right.

In any case, going to try OBS today and see if I am finally able to stream with a fairly decent presentation.

70+ and noisy is pretty standard, the 290x is a hot and hungry card. Also this game seems to make gpus spin super hard for some reason.

I never brought that sword in FFXI as it was a collosal waste of points. But I did always love how when the hero NPC uses it he'd be tanking an entire army by himself lol

Turn 3 in Binding Coil of Bahamut. Yes I know it drops nothing, but the jumping platforms are fun. Same with the "fuck you all" aspect where you just rush through it and let whoever get aggro get slaughtered. Even more fun as a NIN since if I'm ahead I can just use stealth and get past the group and let the people trailing behind get aggro.
