This week's drops didn't suck (for me at least). Finished getting all my Dreadwyrm stuff including weapon which is great since I don't have to fuck around with relics which I wasn't going to do anyway.

Glad for you. But beside the books part, relic is not too much of a grind and at 135 they are almost all BiS if correctly melded. You can make them at a casual pace if you don't have a lot of time.

how you win 10k has nothing to do with the web app....

there is 1 and only 1 combo for it and is randomly decided by the game whether you get the 1 2 3 card or not

what all the web app does is calculate your probability of getting the most payout, there is no way you will not choose a line containing 2 of the 123 even if it turns out to be 7

Exactly right. I always play for 6 or 24 and most of the time neither of those are even an option.

Yeah, there is no formula to tell you which to scratch off based on one revealed number. Many cards have a 0% chance of winning the jackpot before you even start scratching.

The numbers on the ticket are decided beforehand, this just tells you which line to pick to get the highest possible win on the specific ticket.

Really looking forward to the new jobs after reading the Siliconera interview today. The jobs sound different enough from what we have now that they could be interesting to play without stepping on the toes of anything we have now. Was pretty sure I wanted to play Astrologian, but the others seem pretty good now. Also can't wait to see where they take White Mage at 60.

That one that Eidle linked does. You feed it where your first number is, and it tells you probabilistically which spot or spots would give you the most information to uncover.

My guess is there is an MP drain for the aura, like BRD songs.

And then burst abilities that take off an instant chunk of MP.

We know its a "parry" tank. So something like parry aura uses up 30 mp per tic. But to put up "rampart" you also have to spend 500 mp. So as the fight wears on you'll have to maintain 500+ mp for incoming big hits, maybe dropping the aura at times to replenish.

Same idea for offensive stuff where their is an attack aura and a big inner beast type hit that takes up 500mp. Forces you to juggle MP based on what you want to do.

Probably have 2 main combos. One that does the most DPS/hate and another that replenishes MP.

OT can spam the MP combo and follow it up with the big 500mp attack. MT will have to juggle both combos.
