The addition of parralax mapping in DX11 pretty much solved all complaints I had about how flat the environment textures used to look in this game, due to the way ARR handled normal maps.


The lighting changes also make the characters look more vibrant on closer inspection as they used to look in 1.0, minus that dreadful bloom that game had.

Also did they change voice actors? Some of these people sound a bit different (Alphinaud and Raubahn especially).

They changed a ton of the voice actors. I still can't hear the difference with Alphinaud even after somebody pointed it out.

On top of a voice change, I swear they changed Merlwybs face just a tiny bit.

They sure have, pretty sure they have changed Raubhan's since the first time i heard him today i was like 'holy shit is that Sean Bean!?!?!'(Honestly is it? cause it really does sound like him to me) and i'm also sure they've unfortunately changed Urianger's aswell but could be my shitty hearing =/

Omg, I just finished the dravanian frontlands storyline and went through Sohm Al (sp?) the dungeonin that zone. used DF and got 3 other firsttimers. That dungeon rocks. We had so much fun. The last boss is actually so fun. It's like a mini T9 fight mechanics wise. I really wanna see more dungeons of this calibur.

The quest rewards @ 54+ giving minor upgrades is nice....just not the damn tank body!
