i have myriad complaints about the expansion. lack of true QOL improvements, like an archiving glamour system, drk being underwhelming, among other things.

but the music is definitely not one of those complaints. consistently impressed with it everytime i hear something i like and there are quite a few of them.

I absolutely love all of the music in the expansion so far, especially Matoya's Cave. It's just so damn good.

I can do without day time Shire music though. It's unfortunate that my least favorite song in the expansion is one I'll be hearing one hell of a lot of.

I have to agree about the Music. I love the daytime Churning Mists music the most but so many places have great music. Aery is another favourite.

I really, really love the story. I love the inclusion of endless references to other Final Fantasy moments. I'm really happy with the 'to be continued' bits of the story because I can see it doesn't just end right now. I like the fact that the dungeons are a little faster - even though you can't AOE as well.

I absolutely LOVE the changes and additions to SCH to the extent that I'm really not that bothered about levelling AST right now. I will but I'm enjoying learning and using the new SCH abilities and working out how to get the most out of my MP.

I like that the mobs are tougher and it's a little bit scarier getting around. It's not crazy but there are definitely places where you have to be careful.

The amount of detail in the game is amazing. Reading some of the books in the library and seeing references to other places like Haukke... awesome.

The zones are amazing. Churning Mists is definitely my favourite but Sea of Clouds is amazing too. I don't dig the Azys Lla zone style particularly but it's still pretty incredible.

Agree with everyone that the soundtrack is amazing. I can sit and listen to the music all day. I'd play that stuff on my drive to work if I actually had the songs.

I do like the throwback to older FF's too.

For all the bitching I have done in the complaint thread, the story in 3.0 was pretty good and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Now that I have given the game some praise, back to bitching about it's flaws!

EX Primals were fun, much better than the later ARR primals.
Soundtrack, have kept BGM active for most of my playtime, Ravana and last MSQ boss being favorites.
The zone sizes and variety of the zones.
60mnk just generally being more fun to play.
