Hello, everyone.

We understand that there are currently the following issues with FATEs in 3.0 areas:

Monster HP is too high and it takes too long to complete.
The amount of experience points rewarded isn't commensurate with the amount of effort put in.

Especially in regards to the first point above, due to the fact that FATE monsters' HP will increase based on the amount of participants of the previous occurrence of the FATE, it makes it so more work is required to complete it. This in turn increases the feeling that the experience points reward is not enough.

As there are many FATEs, we will need some time to make adjustments; however, we are planning to make the following adjustments to FATEs in 3.0 areas:

Increase the amount of experience points earned.
Change the feature where the monsters' strength is adjusted depending on the amount of players that participated in the previous FATE. If players failed to complete a FATE, the previous number of participants will not count and a modifier will not be placed on the new FATE.
Increase the range of the level sync.

With the above adjustments, it will become easier to complete FATEs even with a small group, and you'll be able to earn more experience points.

We're currently working on this, and we're aiming to implement this as quickly as possible.

I was about to start working on my other 2 level 50 jobs but I think I'll just hold out. I was thinking of bringing a tank to 50/60 anyway so I at least have something to do while I try to gear up my Drg for endgame content. So yeah, praise for fixing the FATES.

I was gonna do Drk but I haven't heard good things so far... so I'm thinking of trying out Warrior

Probably a good time to get any sub-50s to 50. I don't really think they'll do anything to nerf NThan alongside this but you never know.

A good chunk of the highest "current" crafting gear comes from LTW btw. And you need blue scripts for books to get access.

Quick music praise.

Realized a lot of the dungeon themes are (mostly) upbeat mixes of the area theme they are part of.

West Highlands - Dusk Vigil (virtually same)
Forelands - Sohm Al (virtually same)
Churning Mists - Aery (same, much faster)
Sea of Clouds - Neverreap
Azys Lla - Fractal (a bit more roundabout, but the beats are definitely shared in places).

Not sure if Library has any shared notes with Hinterlands or anything.

I was a bit behind the curve as I lost ~8 days due to a move right as HW was launching. I had only cleared A1 as of last night and almost didn't log on as I had no desire to deal with Monday DF crew after spending 90 minutes wiping to A2 the prior night. Log on anyways, do Expert, get invited by FC to fill in for A2 and A3, and get drops from both. Then I also end up filling in as MT for Ravana Ex which I had only attempted once; we won four times and I got the Hive Shield. Unexpectedly productive evening.
