Interestingly enough my Balmung character does have the legacy tattoo. She only got to like ARC 2 before I stopped.

Legacy tattoo is different than Legacy story. The flag for Legacy story was always reported by SE themselves to be completion of United We Stand (the Lunar Transmitter fight) and I have never accounted anything that disproves that other than a few people who swear otherwise. Whether it's true or not, the Legacy story flag is supposed to be there.
Finalyl beat A2S and got Healer gloves
I normally play with music off, but I'm doing MSQ on mule so I turned it on for fights like titan HM and Leviathan.
I warped into Limsa and the event was going on and the music from the fucking 1.0 end trailer is playing in this ghostly voice.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT.
Well done SE, damn.
What makes this video funnier to me is that I did an A4 right before that particular instance and had the same exact thing happen, it's why I typed out that exaggerated "lol" at the end.
Also finally beat A2S, DRG belt (hurray!) and a healer accessory.
A2S Clear weekend I guess?
Finally got through it Friday as well. DRG boots and Caster Belt. Only had about 1.5 hours in A3S, our Monk 'no showed' our raid on Sunday, which is why it took us 4 weeks to clear A2S in the first place.
Still in the running for A3S server first. #casualserverlife
level 60 culinarian quest ending was pretty funny, only one so far for me that wasn't worth skipping.
Carried 5 newbies in Steps of Faith
Landed in-progress SoF, 25 mins to go (lol)
It seems like besides the new 5 people, many many people rotated
Annoyed at the incompetence and also that the 1 guy that stuck around seems to be giving overly massively complicated directions, I whipped them all into shape with 3 points:
1. DPS: focus on Dragon IGNORE ADDS/Cannon guys: SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT
2. Tanks: Front of boss underneath his neck, take adds there
3. Healers: Front of boss underneath his neck
Seems to be the recipe for winning. The first attempt with me there we wiped at 5%, but that's because:
1. The cannon guys were waiting for boss to literally be in front of cannon (I thought I didn't hear enough shots go off)
2. They took my instructions literally and stayed in front of the dragon, eating sideway slice/body slam >__>
A quick rewhip of the guys afterwards allowed us a win when the boss got to the barrels.
Hurray!
I like steps of faith in my trials, it gives more EXP than other trials I noticed. With a tiny bit of effort it's possible to overturn things.
So next time you get in one and have newbies, just establish dominance and silence the pussies moaning about it.
Finally pentamelded all my i150 accessories after spending way too much gil on it. Took three weeks, but finally did it and proud I stuck with it.
On the other hand, I now have no reason to have this much gil on me anymore.
AST in PVP is great. So good being able to run at full speed casting max power heals or having Adlo on the move and collective unconscious is stupid good for keeping up people around points.
Nothing beats having like 3-4 people trying to beat your ass then die when your crew catches up. I can't imagine the rage that happens when I dance on their corpses and mock them.
Got as AST that gave me the arrow card. That's a nice fucking buff.
AST was the only job that i LB 1 and still got fucking 40% HP left........
the rage on AST continues for me...
AST was stupid fun before the buff. Now its just silly in PvP.
The number of dumbassery I've saved from certain death because of Aspected Benefic.

Feels good knowing you gave someone an achievement. (They had pretty consistent good DPS)
Spoiler: show
Spoiled for, well spoilers and discussion about spoilers in the DRK job quest line.
Yeah Drk story is awesome, it gets kinda anime after Fray but I still really liked it.
Rubricatus's shield bugged out in CM (second boss) and we were able to zerg him from 100% dead without sitting on our hands twiddling thumbs waiting on Cid's slow ass to remove the hands.
Props to the Wanderer's Palace(Normal) group. We tore through the damn thing in 12 minutes.. Well the clock said 78 minutes remaining when we got to the last boss. The PLD in one of the areas made one the biggest pulls I ever seen in there. Made me feel good to be a BLM.
