DRK is still gonna be way better than PLD for dungeon running at least. Wish they'd just give PLD a trait to add damage to flash and be done with it.
Echoing the posts above, the Grit bug/change is pretty much cancer and it's ruining DRK for me.
So wait if Grit can't be queued to drop off, is Cleric having the same problem? If so why aren't healers also bitching. If not... what the fuck SE.
I don't have issues dropping cleric.
So while doing my 7 week's of Midas when 3.2 hit to get my i230 weapon for Drg, I managed to accumulate The Midas head, hands and feet tank pieces. Having 3 springs and 2 shafts left over from then too, it only took me 5 runs to get the 3 items I was missing today. And only 1 of those 5 had a tedious, loudmouth idiot.
Now my Warrior (...which is still lvl54) will have all i220 armor when I eventually get it to 60 lol. Accessories need some work though >_>
Being able to parry Weeping City's last boss' ultimate by facing east makes me giggle like an idiot every time.
issues resolved tonight:
・An issue wherein if a player uses a ground-targeted action, then attempt to automatically place the ground-target on the target with a macro, the macro would not work and the ground-target will not automatically be placed on the target.
・An issue wherein the input queue feature would occasionally not work properly for certain actions such as dark knight action “Grit” and white mage action “Cleric Stance.”
(among others)
It's funny they still haven't fixed this since making those retainer furnishings for your front yard:
Katon a dummy and if you have a retainer in range they get hit, with what seems to be a 4x multiplier for god knows why. They flinch pretty hard too. Only katon does this afaik.
Quit my static, don't feel like looking for another so decided to give up the melee life and play blm. I'm loving it. Haven't played it since I leveled it to 60 9 months ago. I remember enochian being annoying but the QoL adjustments made are real nice.
More lol than praise but you can aquapolis has literally 0 acc required. Found out you can change jobs inside (which is great in case of dc's) and a lvl 50 whm had no problem with accuracy. Basically bring your i180+ pvp sets.
It's such a nice way to make gil for people and to get missing minions. A shot at grade v crafting materia is nice too.
Ran Weeping City, somehow the alliance took down Ozma in 1 attempt. Was quite pleased.
Aquapolis being as accessible as it is is a godsend. I spent something like 3 hours just bullshitting with friends on voice while we all got to experience the ride for the first time, and we got to do just a bit of everything: Got some minions, got locked out, got trolled by the doors in every way, had goblins come at us only to escape because it was an "every door opens at once" chamber, got a cyclops dropped on us after clearing a room, got a cyclops dropped on us while clearing a room, had more gil goblins come at us and managed to kill them, and our last run on our last map got us through to Room 7.
It's probably the most fun I've had all year in game. We ran PLD/SCH/BRD and had a BLM friend swing by for the last one.
I joined a PF map party last night and we did like 3-4 maps each 6-7 people and got to room 7 5 times. I capped tomestones on a Tuesday. Got lots of minions and so much Gil. Even had someone add me to their friends list.
I just love the random component. 2 of my maps didn't pop portals and the other 2 I failed on 1st door. I am so lucky that most the PF map parties are "NEED ALL" so I had a chance at loot.
The friends list thing. I don't get added or add other people very much but between a Nidhogg EX learning party and maps last night I gained 3 more people on my FL. That is cool![]()
