6/8 crafter tools done...15/42 on new gear to cap gatherer/crafter again. I always love/hate the x.3 patch.

People might not care about this too much, but considering the amount of drops you get in 50+ dungeons you can actually earn pretty good amount of seals in Sohm Al with your squadron - I just did one run - turning all the items except one (which was an upgrade for me), I earned 6700 seals, while the cost of entering is 2,800. Not really the best way of farming seals, but at least you're not losing them while doing squadrons.

Fight looks fun, curious to hear how it compares to UCoB difficulty-wise once all the mechanics were figured out, given this was cleared faster than it.

Pretty sure the fight is as difficult (More Mechanic checks, not any yuge DPS checks) and that the shorter fight (By 2 mins), familiarity with mechanics, and an idea of what an ultimate fight is like helped bring the clear time down by 5 days.

idk did they up the drop rates or did the RNG just royally mess with me but I have been fighting Shiva/Levi/Ifrit few times a week last few months, kinda whenever I have time to spare and depending on which is on khloe's book, trying to get my last ponies and NOTHING (stopped counting after 20 kills on each and that's just this spring, not when this shit used to be hard and had to kill these with a party) and then this weekend got them all on first try of the week from each primal. Drop. Drop. Drop.

Yeah everything up through Shinryu primal wise has their mounts drop increased dramatically, it's still low as shit but it's A LOT higher than it used to be.

Yeah, warring triad for me was really bad. I think at one point I went like 40-50 Sophia without seeing a single mount drop. Took me about 90 Sephirot and Sophia to finally get their mounts.

Ok I finally decided to finish the last Main Scenario quest and well... that was pretty cool lol.

As I was watching the scene where Alphinaud and the Imperials have to escape the ship I thought "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if they let us play with other characters in certain instances? Why haven't they done that yet?" then it fades to black and there's a prompt to enter an instance. Wait.. my character isn't here!? And then I'm playing as Alphinaud lol. Oh yeah, Gaius was pretty cool too XD

sophia I didn't mind so much, took forever but I love that fight and one person can't really ruin it

seph on the other hand is the type of fight where one idiot can ruin an entire run and I hated it and I was so fucking glad when that birb dropped

in any case, grats on Kirin

my praise for the day is that, with all the bullshit collision detection in Stormblood (soooooooooo many spots in the lochs where I should be able to perch, but no) they at least had the sense to make the top of the Namazu Effigy collidable. and my house has roof access. I've said it multiple times already but honestly, Namazu bsq are just head and shoulders above every other bsq so far

Final tier of Omega raid will drop with 4.4 and a "huge surprise" is planned.
