Stay out of Hyperion!
Potentially dumb question though. Is server capacity instantly updated if you, say, delete a character? Like if I deleted my 2 legacy alts, is that 2 more brave souls striding into Hyperion?

I doubt anyone can answer that, but the answer is probably no.
Also, it would make no sense if their system was set up that way, because you can only have one character logged on per account at any given time. Alts should not be taking up space on a "server maximum population". I wouldn't put it past SE to make such a stupid oversight, though, since I'm pretty sure you can't make characters on a character-creation restricted server even if you already have a character on that server. If you have a character on that server already, then the net increase in population is zero...
It's SE so I just assume they program in the least logical way.
Main reason I assume is because even for chars not in game -right now-, it's still tracking this for you: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...racter/255447/
Well, Ultros was always one for drama.

This is more ego-stroking than anything, but I'm quite amused my MMO buddy(Warrior) and myself(White Mage) was able to duo 50% of Titan SM's HP because the DPS were literally running into landslides.
Finally got around to doing Ifrit HM, was a breeze. I should have done this a long time ago.
This is why people are terrible at Garuda though.
Not saying you personally, but ifrit would be a lot more fun if you couldn't stun eruption. And it wouldn't put every fresh 50 that did ifrit with a stunbot in Garuda fights either.
I guess this should go in to complaints, but people need to learn to move out of shit, instead of going "Noob you didn't stun" expecting an easy fight.
As for praise, I am playing SMN now and I'm enjoying that class more than anything else I've done so far in this game.
It may be a complaint in a praise thread, but it's too true anyway. I don't care if your stunbot is 100% on the ball every time (and I've been a stunbot quite a few times), people need to fucking move anyway. I've dodged so much in this game as a tank that I don't even have to think about it anymore even as a White Mage.
Yeah, Ifrit is ridiculously easy now yet people still manage to suck at it. Literally had a group last night that wanted to quit out before even starting because they didn't have a SMN or BLM to LB3 the nails. Wtf would they have done in 1.0 when they had to dodge eruptions whilst downing nails themselves...
And it's not like 1.0 Ifrit was remotely difficult.
I miss 1.0 Ifrit.![]()
Is it wrong that the biggest kick I've had from this game in a couple of days is finding a crafter tucked away out of the annoying background noise, and then proceeding to spam songs in front of them? I'm undecided on the optimal emote to finish my serenades with...
End with /logout because that's terrible.
The fact you can drag mobs to the end of Brayflox after Aiatar and the goblins will fight them.
Half-complaint but whatever:
Oakwood / Camp Bronze Lake / Camp Overlook are all near the actual Bronze Lake. Overlook is in another zone, but has the same "North Bronze Lake" fishing hole. Which is neat (and comforting that SE doesn't assume another zone = another dimension or something) but confusing if you hadn't unlocked that first as Outer La Noscea only has 1 other marked fishing spot.
I'll have to go check my Inn. O_O;
