10/14 patch gathering XP results.

At L33 I'm getting 568 (+58%) on first swing.

Don't remember exactly (have a ton of rested XP), but I thought under old system I'd be at like 180 (+50%) ?

At lv18, I was getting around 180 (+0%) pre-patch so yeah that sounds accurate.

"Feeling" like it's doubled over old values, but I didn't log old yields, either. Was getting 500+ doing amythests for miner.

Gonna update that and say that I think it's basically equal to fishing now.

I ate 1 food, and have rested and FC bonus, but looks like I'm gonna get about 80% of a level at 33. In 30 mins, just gathering.

I remember doing napkin math in the 20s and 30s that said I was getting an average of 300 exp per swing after factoring in HQ percent and chains, so I was probably getting 225-250 exp base. Looks like they doubled it then.

I just got my luminary axe, but at least miner will be easier to level when I eventually get around to that I guess.

Get to finally start coil tonight after work. And new speed record (we don't do the sac pull, just kill shit) in AK yesterday, just under 24 minutes. Love seeing demonwall die before he finishes casting his second knockback.

SCH is the next job I'm leveling to 50, and I wasn't going to care about SMN, but now that I'm invested in how their DPS works, I might invest into it.

Which annoys me since I have to do a 15/15 stat split if I do.

You DPS 99% of the time 30-50 as SCH really. Even at 50 you get to DPS a ton outside of Coil and Titan. MND all the way and rock dat Cleric Stance. I think Stone Vigil was the only place I didn't DoT/Bane every pull because shit hits bananas hard.

I think I'm likely the minority but Duty Finder has been great to me. Had a lot of fun and got a ton of shit done spamming DF today (first day since EA I've actually been able to play for an extended period). Maybe it's a testament to the community as a whole getting better but none the less, I owe it some praise.

Most of the shitwads you don't want to know or talk to all burned to max level within the 1st week, so if you're still leveling up you're either dealing with people who are new, or are leveling up alts for fun or w/e. Every DF ive done on my monk/brd has been a great experience around 20-35. Doing DF runs at 50 are hit and miss if you go full PUG though.

I've been building up an alt since yesterday (gonna make career WHM for possible Coil groups and Myth or whatever vs my main SCH); first 3 dungeons DF'd all pretty friendly (and not all first-timers; sounded like some guy was spamming Sastasha for Foestriker Tabard. We lamented his misfortune), and knowing rough idea of dungeon flow makes this fun on healer this time around since I know when I can go nuts in Cleric.

Gonna laugh if I see a DF CM speedrunner.
