The difficulty spike in Aurum Vale was very pleasant. All dungeons prior to that I got through by doing the good-old tank-leader style, giving very quick bullet point tips on bosses. But the malboro takes the cake with its mechanics. Didn't finish, although I felt our party setup wasn't optimal (PLD-me. BRD, DRG, SCH). Their AOEs didn't blow down the fruit fast enough. I'm confident if I was a WAR (only 20) then it would be a none issue, but as I lack AOEs I felt severely limited, and the boss's vine/spikes thing was devastating the drg. The DRG also mentioned his AOEs cost lots of TP ... I persuaded him to do it and not worry about that as it was the adds that was the problem. However, I'm unsure if he did in the end or not as I was busy trying to dps the adds down myself and face the boss away from everyone.
I didn't find Brayflox at all hard, or was the tank retarded and not able to move the last boss appropriately? Between that and dodging fireballs there wasn't much to it lol
