the ability to do WP and AK with 4 SMN, lol.
That was the most fun I've had in a good while in this game.

WP in under 20 mins, AK took a bit longer, but still around 30ish mins.

Did Brayflox's Longstop today on my alt for story progression (WHM). 4 piece of mage gear dropped, including the fabulous Battlemage's Robe.

Thanks for bringing up this concern. While the actual drop rates are a bit different compared to what was posted, we have indeed confirmed an issue that resulted in the items not being evenly distributed between the two chests and we will be addressing this in a hot fix next week.

Was doing some overmelds and decided to do a quint meld for the heck of it. . .



First attempt.

Had a failed AK run, the healer was new and couldn't dodge the wall.

Rather then yell at him our group decided to be patient and show him how to use legacy controls to dodge, after a few runs he got it down pretty good and we beat the wall.

Didn't have enough time left afterwards to clear the dungeon, but getting to be in a group of nice and helpful people was kind of cool. You guys rock!

Up to Garuda story mode on my WHM alt. First group of the night had an alright WAR tank, ok BLM, and a BRD who claimed he had done this before but almost without fail died to first Mistral, kept -dmg songs up while he was alive from the start, and annoyingly stayed on the other side of the map so if he did get hit it was a chore to heal him. Tank eventually ragequits so that's the end of it.

Second group, the other 3 members (WAR SMN MNK) all say they're first-timers. I'm a little wary (and the WAR for this group had semi-gimp gear; Brayflox green set is so 10 levels ago) but take the time to explain the mechanics of the fight (and damn Garuda's not a brief explanation). First attempt goes surprisingly well but DPS just died to residual damage. Second attempt we actually make it post-Aerial Blast. Third attempt was a win; MNK LB2'd as Garuda poof'd for 2nd Mistral Song, she came out of it with 1% and DoTs killed her (though she killed everyone but the tank haha).

I almost felt overbearing taking a whole like 10 minutes to explain the fight, but I'm kind of glad I did.

^^Sometimes I re-do old content when I'm bored, teaching the new players the fights is generally pretty nice and feels good, they are generally pretty nice people. Prae-Run with 7/8 first timers is pretty fun. Maybe the game hasn't break them yet in tomes-farming machines, ah.
