what if the new NM hunting logs can only be done after you've completed all your class or GC ones?

Why wouldn't you have these done ages ago, not you personally, but in general? If you have a job at 50, you should have the class log done as you leveled, and GC was a decent way to start getting seals outside of Fates.

As legacy player I came in with max seals and all classes 50. I think i have completed like the first 10 GC hunting log and that's it. Oh and ACN as well.

You should at least finish your GC log sooner rather than later. If history is any indication, completing that log will be a requirement for future rank-ups.

That said, I don't expect the hunting logs to be tied to the NM hunting logs.

Whaaaaaaaat? So you can queue in and be locked out during the boss and get credit, but you can't die during the boss, return, and get credit? Wtf?

For anything leveled after 2.1, sure. But, for me at least, I don't have a single hunting log in any of my pre-2.1 jobs filed out past level 30. It just takes away from time I could have been getting real exp I'm coerthas.
