Of a lot of the things XIV lacks, including shit common to modern MMOs, or properly detailed textures; there's one thing I'll be appreciating this summer. It's that I can cap XIV to 30fps, and that there's an option to make it drop further to 15fps when it's the inactive window.
Going to be a hot summer, don't need my nVidia card turning this room into a sauna when idling about.
Downed T7 for the first time in less than 8 hours total of raid. I didn't expect it, but the first time we got to the caster add, we did it! I'm really happy right now, even if I've yet to see a caster drop in new coil.
Got into a PF group full of skilled dudes last night, and just had fun bonking on everything from Garuda EX up to T5. We did a one-shot single tank single heal T5. It was sweet to do something I've never even attempted in one try, haha.

Don't lie, you got locked out and are trying to do a reverse fail. Also, I know Anderhoo. Weird
too lazy to crop
wipe 4-5 times t6 because I suck at it ngl, run through with the whole devour thing etc. Winning run I wasn't targeted >.> one shot t7 again, few deaths but just derping, and 2 shot t8. Feels like it just all gets easier. MNK got drg weapon since we double brd t8 and still practicing t9 with all the jumping. BLM got their 110 which is still stupid I think, but got caster belt at least. brd/whm caster/caster brd/tank drops so can't complain too much with no dps drops.
edit: rank 10 chocobo too!
With two t9 virgins, got the boss in one night's worth of attempts. They did their homework! So proud of everybody. This is the same group I spent two hours wiping in turn 7 with. Fuck turn 7!
I wonder if this was actually ever a problem.Originally Posted by Patch Notes
Yeah, people trolling and such. Seen it happen a couple times
There is a well known troll on my server who likes to send messages to the leader of every guild on the server trying to get a rise out of them. Occasionally when we need to recruit all of us will put LFM for static etc in party finder, and this dude has all jobs at 50 so he just joins and swears us out while talking to applicants.
So, it's a small thing, but a thing nonetheless.
Didn't see it in the patch notes, but they finally fixed the mouse interacting with things (mostly just mouseover stuff like tooltips) when the window isn't active.
Also the ability to disable action bar dragging, the up/down arrows on 1 AND the ability to turn off action bar numbers is hella nice.
